The Voice Season 3: More Changes Coming To The Voice 2012
| October 29, 2012 at 12:00 PM EDTHaven’t we seen enough changes on The Voice Season 3? Apparently not because NBC is bringing out even more changes as The Voice 2012 progresses, which I guess could be a good thing and makes it not dull and lose viewers. The new changes for The Voice Season 3 is unlike previous seasons, the coaches (Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine) are not guaranteed a spot in The Voice Season 3 Finale!
In the first two seasons as The Voice live shows aired the coaches would lose singers equally on each team every week. That is about to change and I like it. The Knockout Rounds are about to kick off tonight and the coaches will go from ten singers on each team to five.
After the Knockout Rounds the Playoffs will begin for the Top 20. When we get into the playoffs, the audience will vote on who they want to stay in the competition and instead of the votes playing a part in the coaches decision, the vote will directly determine who goes home. During the playoffs, the coaches will have one save to use when they want a singer to stay on The Voice Season 3.
Once it gets to the Top 12 it will take on a similar approach to it’s competitor American Idol. The lowest two vote getters will be sent home every week, no matter what team they are on. This is going to be huge because last year there was a lot of controversy as it got down to the final singers and a lot of people thought Jamar Rogers should have made the finale, but because his team was strong he went home.
I think this is going to be a great thing for The Voice 2012. Why should people vote if their votes don’t fully keep people on the show? Good move NBC and I am loving the changes to The Voice Season 3! How about you all?
