The Voice Season 3 Knockout Rounds: Cassadee Pope Knockout Round (VIDEO)
| October 31, 2012 at 12:30 AM EDTThe Knockout Rounds continued on The Voice Season 3 tonight and it was down to Team Christina and Team Blake, as found out the remaining singers that would make The Voice Season 3 Top 20 for the live shows. The Knockout Rounds were great last night and tonight was just as great, as we got to see the Cassadee Pope Knockout Round on The Voice 2012 as she went up against Suzanna Choffel.
Cassadee has been a fan favorite this season and many were upset when her Battle Round was not fully shown, but each Knockout Round is shown in full and we got to see her shine tonight. Did Blake Shelton pick her for the live shows though? I’ll let you watch the video below to find out, but it was a strong performance by both Cassadee and Suzanna.
Blake did seem a little weird with his choices tonight on The Voice Knockout Rounds, but he ends up with a wide variety of singers on his team so it could pay off for him in the end. Christina Aguilera is full of pop stars on her team, so I think a variety could be good. Blake is coming off a victory as coach in Season 2, so he is ready for a repeat and took five strong singers with him to the live playoffs on Monday.
For the Cassadee Pope Knockout Round she takes on an Adam Levine song and sings “Payphone.” It starts out a little slow for me, but she kicks it in and nails it. Suzanna’s song, “Could You Be Loved” by Bob Marley, was fun and upbeat and she made me like her a little more after her performance. Check out the pairing right here and tell me who you would have picked:
