The Voice Season 3 Finale: Terry McDermott Performances (VIDEO)| December 17, 2012 at 10:00 PM EST
Here we are folks: the Top 3 on The Voice Season 3 have taken the stage and now it is in the hands of you America to decide who wins The Voice 2012! Terry McDermott has been a standout on Team Blake this season and one of two singers in the finals of The Voice USA Season 3 for Blake Shelton. His team won it all last year, so can he repeat again on The Voice Season 3? Check out Terry McDermott’s performances from The Voice Season 3 finale performance show below and tell me if you think he deserves to win this season!
For his first song, Terry McDermott took the stage with Blake Shelton for their duet. They sang “Dude Looks Like A Lady” by Aerosmith. There was a special guest appearance by Adam Levine playing the guitar, which was nice to see him with his shirt off!!! To be honest, Blake sounded really good singing this rock classic as a country singer. Terry, of course, sounded great, but I just wanted to see a little more from him for the finale. Check out the performance here:
The second song Terry sang “Take These Broken Wings” by Mr. Mister. This is his son’s favorite song, so he is singing this for him. Terry had some earpiece issues at the beginning, which you can see in the video, and that seemed to mess him up from the start. He is a strong performer and comes back strong, but the beginning had me wanting more the whole song. Check it out for yourself here:
For the final song, Terry McDermott sang his defining moment song on The Voice 2012, which was “I Want To Know What Love Is” by Foreigner. This is where they just took all the props and over-the-top production away and just let Terry sing. This song is perfect for his voice and he owned the performance once again. Did he do enough to win The Voice Season 3 tonight? Check out the final performance here:
Would you vote for Terry McDermott to win The Voice Season 3?
