The Voice 2012 elimination, fan favorites gone in most shocking results show yet. The three remaining singers from Team Christina Aguilera and Team Blake Shelton were up for elimination. America’s votes granted one singer on each team immunity, and the other two had to sing last-chance songs.

On Team Christina, opera singer Chris Mann earned the most votes. That meant 18-year-old Ashley De La Rosa and indie-rocker Lindsey Pavao had to sing for their coach. Ashley showed off her range with an energetic performance of You and I. Adam said, “Regardless of this performance, I’d keep you around.” Blake said he’d buy Ashley’s record over Lindsey’s. Lindsey sang a vulnerable Please Don’t Go. CeeLo called the performance “wonderful” and “charming.” Blake said Lindsey’s voice draws people in. Christina got to make the final call, and she chose to save Lindsey. “Your performance did make me cry,” she said. Before Ashley left the stage, she thanked her coach for believing in her.

Team Blake hit the stage with the final 3. On Team Blake, former backup singer Jermaine Paul was saved by America’s votes, leaving country singer RaeLynn and powerhouse Erin Willett. Erin belted Proud Mary. Christina loved Erin’s spirit. “I thought you put in an amazing effort,” she said. RaeLynn sang a twangy If I Die Young. Adam said if he were RaeLynn’s coach, “I would have curbed the inflection in your voice,” but “I think you’re great.” The decision was up to Blake. After much contemplation, he said, “I’m saving Erin.” RaeLynn was sent home.

Overall, it was an enormous shock to all viewers.
