The Amazing Race 2014 Live Recap: Week 10 – Accidental Alliance Wins Out?

While we saw an Accidental Alliance formed last week on The Amazing Race 2014, will that alliance be able to stick together and take down Rachel & Brendon tonight on The Amazing Race All Stars 2014? Also, Jet & Cord seem to be forgotten about with this new alliance against Team Brenchel, but they have been in the front of the pack all season long and probably enjoying this Team Brenchel hate on The Amazing Race Season 24. Last week on The Amazing Race 24, the teams were still angry about Rachel & Brendon using the U-Turn on Dave & Connor and we saw a Final 3 alliance form between Dave & Connor, Leo & Jamal and Caroline & Jen. They did work together this episode (including Jet & Cord who were right there in the front of the pack), but Caroline & Jen fell behind in the end and it was Brendon & Rachel that caught up and were the fourth team to check-in with Phil Keoghan. That meant Caroline & Jen were the last team, but it was another non-elimination leg and they will face a Speed Bump tonight!

Here we go…we start this leg of the race with Dave & Connor kicking things off and they will fly to Seville, Spain where they will find the next clue and there is a U-Turn ahead! We see Dave & Connor and Leo & Jamal get an early flight, but the other three teams get a later flight and will be racing for last place!

Dave & Connor and Leo & Jamal arrive in Spain and arrive at the clue, which says the clue will arrive at 8:30 am! That means their big lead is gone, but not completely since the other teams have to wait catch a flight to Seville in the morning.  The next morning arrives and they get the clue, which is a Road Block: they will be working in a barber shop and using a balloon as the customer! They will have 60 seconds to shave the balloon without breaking it!

Both Jamal and Connor fail on the first attempt. The other three teams have arrived in Seville. The second attempt Connor is successful, but Jamal pops his balloon and must redo it. For the clue, they will now head to Real Alcazar for the next clue. Jamal gets it done on the next attempt and they head out!

Jen gets to the barber shop and starts shaving, but runs out of time. The Cowboys get there and have passed Brendon & Rachel on their attempt to get to the barber shop and their taxi driver is lost! They finally get there and Rachel starts in on her shaving. Rachel, Jet and Jen are trying the shaving and not successful.

Back to Dave & Connor and they get to the next clue, which is a Detour: Spanish Steps, which requires teams to join a flamenco dance team and master the steps with them, or Run with the Ballz, where they will get in a blow-up ball bull and run the streets with the other bulls and survive while reading a motto along the way that they must recite at the end. Both Dave & Connor and Leo & Jamal will do Run with the Ballz.

We see Rachel finish the shaving first and then Caroline gets it next time and then Jet gets it the next time. Caroline & Jen try to run to the next clue and get lost!

Dave & Connor start the bulls and the other bulls are not friendly and flinging them both all around! Caroline & Jen get to their Speed Bump, which is having them deliver six hams in the tiny streets of Spain! The Cowboys are lost and not able to find the clue for the Detour! Leo & Jamal start with the bulls and are getting beat up too!

Caroline & Jen finish their Speed Bump as The Cowboys finally find the clue. Caroline & Jen decide to do the flamenco dancing and not follow everyone else. Rachel & Brendon are now getting beat up by the bulls and she is whining. Dave & Connor finish with the bulls (even though Connor loved it and wanted to do it longer) and get the next clue, which is to head to the General Archive of the Indies for the next clue!

The Cowboys have started running with the bulls now. Caroline & Jen are lost trying to find the dancing on The Amazing Race 2014. Meanwhile, Jamal & Leo are finishing up the last part of the quote and Jamal is hit and twists his knee and can’t feel his kneecap! He is going to barrel through and make it work somehow.

Dave & Connor get to the next clue, which has the Double U-Turn. They are not able to use it, so they move on. They will now head to the Plaza de Espana for the Pit Stop. The Cowboys are getting beat up at the first clue and don’t notice the clue and keep moving on! The Afghanimals get down with the bulls and head to the Double U-Turn. Jet & Cord realize they missed something at the first clue, so they will go back and get that with the second clue in hand. The bulls are apparently bullying Rachel and so mean to her, but they get it done and move to the U-Turn.

Leo & Jamal get to the U-Turn and they think Jet & Cord are the stronger team, so they U-Turn them! Rachel & Brendon get to the clue and see they are not U-Turned, so they keep heading to the Pit Stop. We see Dave & Connor get to the Pit Stop and check-in with Phil Keoghan as Team #1 and win a trip to St. Croix!

Jet & Cord get the bulls done and head to the clue. Rachel & Brendon check-in with Phil as Team #2 as Leo & Jamal walk to the Pit Stop because of Jamal’s knee. Caroline & Jen avoided the bulls (for now) and get the dance done on the first attempt and head to the clue. Leo & Jamal check-in as Team #3 and think they can beat Rachel & Brendon more than The Cowboys. Caroline & Jen get their first and are shocked to see The Cowboys are U-Turned. They U-Turn Brendon & Rachel, just because. They then check-in with Phil as Team #4.

We see Jet & Cord do their dance and finish the dance off and check-in with Phil as the final team and they have been eliminated on The Amazing Race 2014 tonight! I am sad to see them go!
