Teen Mom Amber Portwood sentenced to five years in prison for failing to take drug test. In December, Teen Mom star Amber Portwood was sentenced to five years in prison after a drug arrest, but the judge said he would dismiss the case if she completes a drug program, according to TMZ.com. But on Monday, Amber failed show up to take a routine daily drug test, and now she may be headed back behind bars.

Amber was doing well, and was cooperating with the law. That is, until she failed to provide a urine sample during a routine drug test while serving time on home detention. Sources tell HollywoodLife she simply couldn’t go at the time, but no urine sample still counts as a failed test no matter what.

During her weekly check-up with the judge on today, she’ll have to answer for her failed test. It’s up to the judge to decide if she’ll be locked up for her original five-year sentence or not.

Sources have reached out to Amber’s attorney Evan Broderick, who will not comment on the case.
