It was Big Band Night for the Top 8 on The X Factor USA 2013 last night and while it was supposed to be a throwback to the Big Band Era, it seems like the producers just threw a live band on the stage with the acts and let them sing whatever they wanted. When it comes to the Girls Category on The X Factor USA Season 3, we all know that mentor Demi Lovato will have them put on a huge production, which is getting old to me. Ellona Santiago is known for those big productions on The X Factor 2013 and she did not disappoint last night on The X Factor Season 3. If I want to see anyone be crowned the winner of The X Factor USA 2013 it would have to be Alex & Sierra, who just have something about them that makes me want to root for them. Besides the results on The X Factor USA 2013 tonight, we are in for a special treat as One Direction takes the stage to perform for British Invasion Week on The X Factor USA Season 3. Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson got their start on the UK version of The X Factor, so it only seems appropriate that they come visit the US version to show their love. They will also be singing their new single “Story Of My Life” for all the screaming fans. It seems that the talent on The X Factor USA 2013 just is not that strong this season, but Alex & Sierra remind me that there are good singers out there every time they take the stage on The X Factor USA Season 3. Besides the fact that they are adorable together, they have some amazing voices and such a unique sound to them. I think (and hope) it is something that America picks up on and votes for them on The X Factor 2013. They have a way of taking a song and completely changing the arrangement and sound and making it their own, which I love! One of the success stories of The X Factor Season 2 is Fifth Harmony and they came back tonight on The X Factor USA 2013 to perform for us during the results show on The X Factor USA Season 3! I was not a fan of these girls when they first were put together, but they won me over over the season and proved they deserved to be in the finals. During the Four Chair Challenge on The X Factor USA 2013, Paulina Rubio did not think that Josh Levi was good enough to make it into the Top 12 on The X Factor USA Season 3. Her and the other judges (Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato and Kelly Rowland) discussed this and thought he deserved a second chance, so they brought him back and made a Top 13 instead of a Top 12. He has just gone up on that stage and sung his heart the last couple performances, which have been amazing. Last night on The X Factor 2013, Paulina brought out the dancing and singing again for Josh, which sent him home before, so he was nervous. I don’t think he has anything to worry about!
