While some people might be happy for the Rising Star 2014 finale tonight and seeing the winner of Rising Star Season 1 crowned, I am happy just to get this travesty done and over with. Each week I watch and hope it gets better, but it truly hasn’t. The voting system is flawed and makes no sense and the singers don’t seem to be improving at all, but I guess that is what you get when Kesha serves as one of the experts! If Rising Star 2014 on ABC does not do well in the ratings, I am thinking it will be a big loss for ABC because they have put some major marketing behind Rising Star on ABC! They are trying to break into the singing competition genre, but I just don’t see it happening, even with experts Brad Paisley, Kesha and Ludacris lending their opinions every week and Josh Groban taking on the hosting duties.
