Survivor Caramoan 2013 Recap: Season 26 Premiere Episode

We are back with another Fans vs. Favorites edition of Survivor, as we get to see some of the favorites from recent seasons head out to Survivor Caramoan 2013 and try to be the new winner of Survivor 2013 Caramoan. It is a mixed bag of returning Favorites, as we have crazy Phillip Sheppard to almost winner Malcolm Freberg and funny/awkward John Cochran all returning for Survivor Season 26. A new season and new drama, so don’t miss a thing during my Survivor Caramoan 2013 Recap and see who was eliminated on Survivor 26!

The new season of Survivor kicks off with 20 castaways that will be divided into two tribes, not three tribes like last season on Survivor Philippines 2012. The castaways will be ten super fans taking on ten returning Survivor favorites, or so CBS is saying they are favorites. Some of them you might not even remember, like Francesca Hogi. She was the first person voted off Survivor Redemption Island when she tried to get a plan to get Boston Rob voted off. I guess now maybe she will get a little longer on the island?

Since this is Survivor Season 26, we have plenty of players to work with and the show is trying to get a new batch of stars to work with for these all-star type seasons. We all love Boston Rob and Russell, but it is time for these newbies to take the reigns over. Will Survivor Caramoan 2013 work though with Favorites not as popular of players as seasons past? Let’s do this…drama among the favorites before we start? The Fans arrive first and find out they will be playing some of their favorites from past seasons, who happen to arrive in a helicopter. The tribes are Gota Tribe (Fans) and Bikal Tribe (Favorites).

Things start off with a challenge: two members will race to get a ring in the water while the other two members try to stop them. Score four and the winner gets an early lead, which is fire. Fans take 1-0 lead. Tied 1-1. Favorites take 2-1 lead. Favorites again and 3-1 lead now. Even with his shorts at his knees, Malcolm scores the final point for the win for the Favorites!

Drama with Fans as they get to their camp, as Matt wants to work on shelter but Shamar wants to get water and build a fire to boil it. They get into it, but Shamar sits on his butt and does nothing for a fire!

The Favorites make it to their camp and building the shelter. Dawn, Andrea and Francesca start working on alliances right away. Phillip and Francesca talk, but Phillip is annoyed by her.

The Fans get fire, after Shamar helped them out, and their tribe is happy and will get water now. Back to the Favorites and Phillip is talking some mumble jumble and has learned things from Boston Rob. He tells Corrine that he wants to align with her and then get Andrea and Malcolm. He then starts recruiting six total people, but I think that will come back to bite him in the butt! Erik and Phillip meet and Phillip tells him either he is with him or Erik is out and Erik is having none of that!

For the Fans, Reynold forms an alliance with Allie. Since Eddie and Hope are the two best looking people on the island, they are sticking together. Yup, they’ll be having sex! Well, I guess it will be Reynold and Allie, as they are caught doing some heavy petting in the middle of the night!

For the Favorites, Cochran has gotten sunburnt all over and his feet are swelling! He is trying to be confident though. For the Fans, now Reynold, Allie, Eddie and Hope have formed an alliance and it is the cool kids group. Anyone else annoyed with Eddie? Matt and Michael are aligning, even though Michael was approached by some of the ladies.

Time for the first Immunity Challenge on Survivor Caramoan 2013: the tribes will climb up a four-story tower in pairs and toss down crates from each floor. In the crates are sandbags and the final pair will toss the sandbags in six holes. Once all filled, then that tribe wins immunity. If the Fans win, they also win flint.

Tribes keeping up with each other through two rounds. It looks like it is going to be a matter of who can hit the holes first with the sandbags! Favorites get out to an early lead, but then Reynold comes back for the Fans and they win the Immunity Challenge! Will Malcolm go home?

The Favorites come back and are upset about their loss. Francesca talks with Cochran about either voting for Phillip or Corrine. They then share that info with Andrea, Malcolm and Brandon. Andrea doesn’t feel that confident with Francesca and wants to go with Phillip. It is looking like it might be Francesca leaving first again! How can she be so stupid?

Dawn and Cochran seem to be working togethe, but neither of them are making a decision. Now Francesca is worried and wants to split the vote because they think Phillip may have an idol. Now Andrea’s name is being throw out there…it is a big mess! No one knows as they head out to Tribal Council.

It is Tribal Council time on Survivor 26 and the castaways vote: Andrea, Andrea, Andrea, Francesca, Francesca, Francesca, Andrea, Francesca, Francesca and Francesca. That means that Francesca is the first person eliminated on Survivor 2013 Caramoan. I guess she is not that smart and is voted out first again!
