Survivor 2014 Cagayan Recap: Week 7 – Who Got Eliminated Tonight?

The theme for tonight on Survivor 2014 Cagayan: find that Hidden Immunity Idol and find it before any other castaway on Survivor Season 28 finds it! I don’t blame them, as we have seen some wild Tribal Councils on Survivor Cagayan 2014 already, so you just never know if you are truly safe or not! Last week on Survivor Season 28, the final merge of the season happened and we saw Sarah get a little too cocky with where she thought she stood in the game. She thought she had her former Brawn Tribe on one side wanting her and her current Aparri Tribe wanting her on the other side. Problem was she got too confident and annoyed everyone, so Kass knew she was on the bottom and needed to make a move. Was it a smart move for Kass? Probably not, but it was fun for us to watch! Now Sarah is gone and Kass is left scrambling trying to pick up the pieces from the big move!

Here we go…the castaways make their way back to camp after Tribal Council and Spencer said he is not mad, but he is trying to warn them about Kass and that she plays where her estrogen takes her and not her brain. Now Kass is asking the others to cover her since she worked with them. She thinks they will help her and she made a big move, but does she realize how silly the move was???

The next day arrives Morgan was supposed to go get water, but then we get a little tiff between Kass and Morgan. Now we get crazy talk, as she says Kass is jealous of her because she is prettier than her and always has been. The things some people say!

Reward Challenge: they will play in two teams and race through obstacles and grab a chest and eventually drag it to the top of the tower and solve the puzzle with the pieces inside. The winning team gets taken to a Survivor themed Outback Steakhouse with steak, margaritas and smores! They draw randomly for teams and get started. Woo falls off the first beam and puts his team behind. They are all at the chest and Purple made up the mistake by Woo. The Purple Team goes ahead with climbing the wall and start pulling chest up and they start working on the puzzle, which is Woo and Kass working on it. The Orange Team gets their chest up and it is Spencer and LJ working on the puzzle. They manhandle the Purple Team on that puzzle, as the Orange Team kicks major butt and LJ, Spencer, Morgan, Jeremiah and Jefra win the reward and get some major food! The others head back to camp!

Tony, Woo, Kass, Trish and Tasha come back to camp and not happy to have lost, but will eat their food. Kass is talking with them and she talks about Jeremiah or Spencer going next, but they seem to put it on her to decide, but she claims she is still a free agent. Since he gave up his idol the night before, Tony goes out looking for a new idol to use as a security blanket. The other castaways head to their reward and loving all the food and it looks great! Spencer finds a paper in his napkin and slips it into his pocket with no one seeing!

They all get back to camp and a downpour has started. He is trying to keep it try to read it. He gets some time away and it is a clue for the idol on Survivor 2014 Cagayan! Woo is a fan of the show and knows that usually they get a clue on the rewards, so he heads out to follow him! Spencer “hides” the clue in his pants on the ground and starts looking with Woo lurking in the bushes! He notices him and says he was out walking, but Woo knows better and says the same thing. Spencer forgets the pants and throws them back to Spencer and notices the clue and picks it up! Then he dashes and Spencer can’t catch him, so it is on now for that idol!

Woo gets back to camp on Survivor 2014 Cagayan and Woo shares it with his alliance and Spencer comes back to camp and rallies his troops and now the hunt begins. They are all out there searching for it, but who will find it first? I guess it won’t be a Hidden Immunity Idol since everyone is there, huh? I guess it will be, as Kass is watching over him and he finds it, but waits for her to look away and he stuffs it in his pants and no one knows he has it! Good job, Spencer!

Immunity Challenge: they will balance on their toes with a block balanced on their head wedged between them the top of the beam. Last one standing with the block wedged in will win immunity on Survivor Season 28! They cannot touch the frame and Kass is out within a few seconds! Trish saves herself and then Jeremiah falls and he is out and then Trish and Tony follow him.

We have seen 25 minutes elapsed and six of them are still standing. Spencer almost drops it, but recovers and then Morgan drops her block and is out. Woo then falls out and we have four left. We have now seen an hour go by and Jefra drops her block and she is out. LJ is out next, so it is down to Tasha and Spencer, two of the former Brains Tribe and they both need it tonight. Spencer is struggling big time, but Tasha seems solid as we have 90 minutes have passed. Out of nowhere, Tasha drops her block and Spencer wins immunity and is safe tonight on Survivor 2014!

Back at camp and now the alliance of five talk with Kass and ask if she thinks the others have an idol. She doesn’t think so and then have to go with who they think they wouldn’t consider using it on, so they want to vote out Morgan to be safe. Plan B would be Tasha, who is more of a threat. The others discuss and they think Tony and maybe he will do something stupid at Tribal Council and make Kass join them again. Spencer talks with Kass and tries to bring her back, which she said she knew would happen. Now it all falls in how Kass votes, again.

Tribal Council: Kass said she had some people made at her after last Tribal. Morgan said she is not a threat and no one likes her, so why vote her out. Trish agrees and said she does nothing around camp. She then goes on to say if people in the world could decide between being ugly and cute, people would pick cute while everyone shakes their head at her and laugh! Tony is acting very cocky, which we all know that is not the right thing to do on Survivor. He said Kass is a part of this alliance and everyone is equal, but Spencer said he called them out on the same thing last week! Yeah, I think Kass is going back to her original alliance tonight! Time for the vote! Jeff tallies the votes and no idol is played, so here we go!

Votes: Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, Morgan, Morgan, Morgan, Morgan, Morgan and Morgan! So, Kass stuck with the new alliance and voted out Morgan. Now Jeremiah, Spencer and Tasha have some major work to do!
