Survivor 2014 Cagayan Recap: Week 5 – Who Got Eliminated Tonight?

It seems like every Survivor season is a season of blindsides, as we saw plenty of them last season and we have already seen plenty during Survivor 2014 Cagayan! Not sure why, but these castaways are going into Tribal Council pretty confident and then leaving the game for good and shocked it was them voted off Survivor Season 28! Will that trend continue tonight on Survivor Cagayan 2014? Find out during our Survivor 2014 Cagayan Recap and see who got voted off Survivor 2014 tonight!

Last week on Survivor Season 28, Jeff Probst threw a twist at the castaways and told them to throw in their buffs and two new tribes were formed. However, the Brawn Tribe found themselves all on the same tribe, except for Sarah. They were feeling an advantage heading into the Immunity Challenge, but were shocked when they lost! It was their first trip to Tribal Council, but instead of keeping their numbers intact and voting out LJ or Jefra from the former Beauty Tribe they went back to their plan last week and voted off Cliff Robinson in another blindside vote!

Here we go…the Solana Tribe heads back to camp after Tribal Council and Trish tries to talk to Lindsey and it gets ugly. They throw words back and forth at each other. She said she does not want to play this game any more with Trish and she is a bully, but then she goes and makes fun of Trish’s laugh and teeth? How nice is that? Lindsey walks out and is hiding out and talks to Jeff Probst and said she can’t take it any more. She said she is afraid she is going to do something she is going to regret, so she needs to walk away from the game! So, she is quitting the game because she can’t stand Trish or because she knows she is nothing on the tribe and knows she is next? Jeff goes and tells the other tribe members and they are not surprised!

Reward Challenge: the tribes arrive and see that Cliff and Lindsey are gone and Aparri are shocked! Sarah is shocked by it and Alexis is happy to see her Beauty members still over there. For the challenge, they will screw off one-on-one and both will be holding an idol. Knock it off and score a point. The first tribe to four wins and the winning tribe will get to have two of their members follow the losing tribe back to camp and raid it of things they want! Alexis and Kass will sit out for Aparri.

Round 1 – Spencer beats Woo, so 1-0 Aparri. Round 2 – Trish beats Tasha, so tied 1-1. Round 3 – Sarah beats Jefra, so 2-1 Aparri. Round 4 – LJ beats Jeremiah, so tied 2-2. Round 5 – Tony beats Morgan, so 3-2 Solana. Round 6 – Woo beats Spencer, so Solana wins 4-2 and wins the reward on Survivor 2014 Cagayan! Tony and Woo will go back with the Aparri Tribe to raid their camp!

Back at the Aparri camp, Tony and Woo arrive and they have the note from Jeff, so they go and read it. They get to take some of their comfort items and fishing gear and get a clue to the Hidden Immunity Idol for their camp. They pretend they get to give one of the members the clue, so they do this and give it to Jeremiah to put a target on his back.

Back at the Solana camp, they bring back all the comfort stuff and life is good on their camp. Tony is lying to everyone and he tries to clear the air and said he lied about being a cop and he is not and all these other lies. I think he is going home next. He is a liar and they all know it!

Over on the Aparri Tribe, Alexis talks to Spencer about not trusting Jeremiah. They talk with Jeremiah and said the clue was the same one they had on the other island, but Spencer and Alexis don’t seem to be buying it!

Immunity Challenge: they will use wooden poles to build a staircase and then proceed through an obstacle course that will eventually release puzzle pieces. The puzzle will reveal three numbers to the combination lock. Get that done first and raise your flag and win immunity. Tasha and Morgan sit out for Aparri.

It was raining, so the course is a mess and muddy. Aparri gets the staircase done first and they are headed out. Both get through the maze at the same time and now working the key through the rope. Aparri is done first and has the machete and they have puzzle pieces and Spencer and Sarah start working on puzzle. Tony finally gets the pieces out and Woo and LJ start working on the numbers. Both tribes are struggling with the numbers, but Solana gets it together and they get the three numbers and get the lock undone and flag raised, so they win immunity and Aparri will head to Tribal Council. Tony is screaming top five for the five members of Solana and Sarah hears that, so I guess she is moving on! Good because he is no good for her!

The Aparri Tribe comes back and they are upset about Tony screaming Top 5 and they think they need one of them, so Alexis said that Jeremiah is working with them because of the Hidden Immunity Idol. She is throwing it out there and the former Brains Tribe is going along with her to keep her happy, but then they have the hold on everyone right now. Sarah is following their lead, so it is whether they go with Jeremiah or Alexis and I hope Alexis. What do you think?

Tribal Council: Jeff said it could be assumed that it is three Brains and three Beauty and Sarah stuck in the middle. We see some tension between Jeremiah and Alexis, so there is a crack and the Brains like it. Sarah said she is done with the other tribe. Jeremiah said the Hidden Immunity Idol clue was not real and they can believe him. They all talk about Jeremiah or Alexis flipping at the merge, so who knows. I guess it is whoever the former Brains Tribe decides this one. Time for the vote! Jeff tallies the votes and no one plays the idol, so here we go:

Votes: Jeremiah, Alexis, Alexis, Alexis and Alexis! She is voted off Survivor Cagayan 2014 tonight and blindsided, but that is what you get for trying to call the shots!
