If Rising Star 2014 on ABC does not do well in the ratings, I am thinking it will be a big loss for ABC because they have put some major marketing behind Rising Star on ABC! They are trying to break into the singing competition genre, but I just don’t see it happening, even with experts Brad Paisley, Kesha and Ludacris lending their opinions every week and Josh Groban taking on the hosting duties.
