Rising Star 2014 Spoilers: Duels – Week 1 Sneak Peek (PHOTOS)

The Rising Star auditions 2014 are behind us and the final 20 on Rising Star 2014 will now move on to the Duels on Rising Star on ABC and compete against the wall and each other to move on to the next round! This is the first week of the Duels and should be interesting to see how this all plays out, even though it is very similar to the Battle Rounds on The Voice. Check out a sneak peek at Week 1 of the Duels below in our Rising Star 2014 spoilers!

Before the Duels on Rising Star 2014 tonight on ABC, check out the official synopsis from ABC, including the Week 1 performers:

 “After 3 weeks of thrilling LIVE auditions where you, the viewers at home, have chosen the 20 performers and groups that moved on, it’s time for the competition to go to the next level on ABC’s Rising Star SUNDAY 9|8c|7m. Week 4 marks the beginning of The Duels, a round where your favorites will face not only The Wall, but each other!

Here’s how it works. Each week, your favorite performers will be paired up to compete. The first performer will give it their all and you’ll vote “yes” or “no” for them through the Rising Star App just like you did during the live auditions. Then it will be their competitor’s turn. Whichever performer gets the highest percentage of “yes” votes from both east and west will stay in the competition. The performer who fall short? They go home.”

For Week 1 of the Duels, here are the matchups:

• Will Roth vs. Jesse Kinch
• Megan Tibbits vs. Sarah Darling
• Lisa Punch vs. Alice J. Lee
