When all is said and done tonight on Last Comic Standing 2014, we will have the Top 10 on Last Comic Standing Season 8 and it will be time to move on to the finals! Last Comic Standing - Season 8

Last week on Last Comic Standing Season 8, we saw the first 14 comedians take the stage for the Semifinals! I am having a hard time getting a grasp of this show and am so tired of these Invitationals and Semifinals. I want to see the Top 10 be announced and see them compete against each other. I have seen some pretty good sets, or so it appears, yet those comedians are sent home and the judges are keeping other comedians that I did not think were as strong. How is that possible? In the end, we saw Monroe Martin, Joe Machi, Jimmy Shubert, Aida Rodriguez and Karlous Miller move on to the Top 10 on Last Comic Standing 2014!

Here we go…it looks like it will only be Wanda Sykes tonight as the mentor, so no Amy! Now lets get to the performances!

Lachlan Patterson – He is a part-time dog walker, but wants to do comedy full time. I was not a fan of his original set, so this should be good. Wanda tells him to work on the segways and transition better. He is a good-looking guy and I think this set was a little better and he got some chuckles out of me.

Zainab Johnson – She has a bit on rape, but is worried how it will come off and asks Wanda about it. She gives it a no and said she is better than that. We didn’t see her much the first time, but she is a beast and has some guns on her! She has some good stuff in there, but I am not that impressed.

DC Benny – He said he tells long stories and his life and what happens. Wanda said if he is going to tell one story then make sure it builds. I didn’t mind him. He does tell a long story, but it was enjoyable.

Jasper Redd has a weird delivery and sound to his voice, but he had some okay jokes in there. Emily Galati seems like she could be enjoyable and have some good stuff, but only a brief look. Tyree Elaine was not that great. Dave Landau had some funny stuff and his delivery is a little slow.

Nikki Carr – Wanda told her to get to the jokes faster and she needs a bigger ending. I like her delivery and stage presence. She has good jokes and I am a fan of her. I want to see more from her!

Dana Eagle uses the gay and mental disorder thing too much and needs to find new material. Gerald Kelly had some good jokes, but not good when they show him during the quick looks on Last Comic Standing 2014! Erin Jackson was good during her first set and this sounded alright. Alignon Mitra has good stuff, but he has a mellow demeanor.

Rocky LaPorte – He is a grandfather that wants to spend more time at home and with them, so winning Last Comic Standing Season 8 could allow that. Wanda tells him to watch his speed. He had some good jokes and it went well together, but his delivery is too slow for me.

Rod Man – Wanda tells him to not be so wordy with his jokes. He is good with the jokes, but she said cut some of the words out! I like this guy and he has some good jokes. His delivery makes it even funnier. I am a huge fan!

The performances are done for tonight and now time for the judges to discuss what five comedians will move forward! Who do you think it will be?
