| May 29, 2014 at 9:00 PM EDTThe Invitationals on Last Comic Standing 2014 continue tonight on NBC and we will see another ten comedians make their way into the next round on Last Comic Standing Season 8! Roseanne, Russell Peters and Keenan Ivory Wayans will be judging and trying to find the best of the best in this group of 100 comedians and I think they did a pretty good job last week on LCS 2014! Come watch it again with us during our Last Comic Standing 2014 Recap and see who made it through and who got eliminated on Last Comic Standing 2014 tonight!
Last week on Last Comic Standing Season 8, we saw the return of a show that I think is great! JB Smoove serves as the host and a new judging panel helps bring new life to the show. The producers invited 100 of the best up-and-coming comedians to get a chance at making the show. There was some real talent during the premiere and even some drama, as Roseanne told one of the comedians to go f*** himself! It was well-deserved! In the end, 14 comics moved on to the next round and more will join them tonight!
Who goes home tonight on Last Comic Standing 2014 and who moves on? Find out in our Live Recap that follows!

Here we go…we had 14 comics move on last week and it is another night of Invitationals tonight! Let’s do this!
Tony Baker: He had some good jokes and made me giggle a few times. Keenan said he thought he was very funny and he related to his stories. Roseanne said she loved him and loved the Dad stuff. Russell said he is very charismatic on stage and he had original material and good stuff in there!
Alingon Mitra: He graduated from Harvard and works as a tax accountant by day and comedian by night! His parents have never seen his act because he would not let them. It was an alright set and he had some decent jokes in there, but I think he needs more experience. Russell said he came out swinging and he had great twists. Keenan said he was original and he did a great job. Roseanne said she liked his whole set and liked his delivery.
DC Benny: Again, some good stuff and a nice set, but nothing too crazy that made me laugh out loud big time. Russell said he is extremely likable on stage, but it looked like he was chewing gum on stage. Keenan thought he was really funny. Roseanne said real original stuff and he did great.
Kelly Pryce: She is a mother of four and been doing stand-up for 11 years. She said her husband is a good balance for her and he has a savings account and credit card! Just from this package video, I am liking her! I did enjoy her set and she had some good stuff in there. Roseanne thought she was really funny and her writing is good, but her construction was not the best. Keenan said she is a funny lady, but basically called her a liar. Russell said she has a lot of stuff to work with and stay on the track she is going.
Randy Liedtke: He has an awkward stage presence and delivery, but it works for him. I like how he tells the crowd to stay seated and the delivery is key for him. Roseanne said he looks funny and he is odd and tells him to start smoking pot. Keenan said he is not a traditional stand-up comedian and he was a lot of fun. Russell said he does puns and tries to oversell them, which made him laugh on Last Comic Standing 2014.
QUICK LOOKS: Vinnie Brand, Mike Lawrence, Hampton Yount and Emily Galati. They all did some good jokes, but I am a fan of Emily and I want to see more of her!
Chloe Hilliard: She grew up in a Jewish neighborhood, but she felt she was part of the community even though she did not fit in. She had strong stage presence and some good jokes. Kennan said she was poised and she commanded the room and wanted to see her explore more with the Jewish community thing. Russell said her set was good and she did great. Roseanne said it was hilarious and she had a lot of confidence.
QUICK LOOKS: Gerald Kelly, Keith Alberstadt, Kimberly Clark, Jim Tews and Zainb Johnson. They all had some good stuff, but were any of them strong enough to move on? I did like Jim Tews.
Rocky LaPorte: He has a huge family and he has been traveling the road for 26 years, but they have their Sundays together and everyone spends the night. I have seen him perform before and I liked him, but I was not a huge fan of this set tonight on Last Comic Standing 2014. He ended it on a good one though! Russell said he feels like he could listen to him for the next hour and he has a funny and soothing voice. Keenan said he is very funny, but pick up the pace at times. Roseanne said to pick up the pace and he could keep the wave of laughs going.
The Last Comic Standing judges 2014 will now deliberate and determine who will make it to the semifinals! The results are in and the comics moving on to the semifinals are:
- Chloe Hilliard
- Alingon Mitra
- Gerald Kelly
- Zainb Johnson
- DC Benny
- Emily Galati
- Rocky LaPorte
What do you think of the judges’ decision tonight on Last Comic Standing 2014?
