Last Comic Standing 2014 Recap: Top 7 – Tour Guide Challenge

The comedians on Last Comic Standing 2014 will be facing an improv challenge tonight on last Comic Standing Season 8, as Howie Mandel joins them and helps mentor them in working a crowd at Universal Studios as tour guides! It is it the Hollywood Tour Guide Challenge and this should be fun to watch, especially seeing some of them going with the flow of the crowd! Watch it with us tonight during our Last Comic Standing 2014 Recap and see who got eliminated on Last Comic Standing 2014 tonight!

Last week on Last Comic Standing Season 8, the comedians had the chance to be a guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show! They all did pre-interviews with producers from the show and the best three were picked to sit down with Ellen DeGeneres for an interview. While they all did a good job, Rod Man was amazing and I fell even more in love with him. At the head-to-head vote, the comedians voted Lachlan Patterson as the weakest comedian. He took on DC Benny in the head-to-head competition and Lachlan shined and the judges saved him, which meant DC Benny was eliminated.

Here we go…

CHALLENGE: JB Smoove tells them about the challenge and they will each be leading the tour bus and will be mentored by Howie Mandel tonight. They are going through the backlot and telling the crowd what is going on. Howie said they need to be real for these people. Howie said Rod Man needs to get everything wrong if he knows nothing. Lachlan said he is usually scripted and Howie said they have to go off script sometimes. Karlous said he is not worried about this, Joe said he does not like improvising, but it always comes up.

The comics head out to the tour buses and the crowds will pick the winners. Rod Man is up first and he has them all cracking up! I am such a huge fan of him and he is made to do this! Joe is up next and he was working the crowd and he had them laughing. Nikki uses the “last female standing” card and gets them cheering. She has some good stuff. Karlous was alright. Rocky is alright also and not a huge fan of him. Monroe gets them working with a twerking. Lachlan is working it good with adding taglines to the movie titles.

RESULTS: The crowd has voted for their favorites and the winner of this challenge and has immunity on Last Comic Standing 2014 tonight is Lachlan! He won head-to-head last week and now has immunity!

HEAD-TO-HEAD VOTE: The comics vote and the votes are: Joe, Rocky, Karlous, Monroe, Joe, Rocky and Joe! That means Joe is going to the head-to-head vote and he has to pick between Nikki and Monroe to go up against since Lachlan has immunity. He picks Monroe and Joe needs to win!

HEAD-TO-HEAD COMPETITION: I don’t know if I can handle this, as Joe is just amazing and if he doesn’t win then I will be upset. Russell said that Joe is edgy and he went right into it tonight and that is a ballsy way to go in. Kennan said his jokes were very good and edgy and funny. Roseanne said she is so impressed and balls! Monroe has a good set, but I just don’t think he is as funny as Joe. Keenan said he surprised them all and he keeps getting better. Russell said tonight he proved he is great and is blown away. Roseanne said she is blown away too and great stuff.

JUDGING: The judges discuss and they said this is the toughest decision yet. They are dead-locked and want to see more from each comic! They will each get two more minutes to prove why they should stay! Monroe is up first and he is humorous, but I don’t find myself belly laughing with him. On the other hand, I find myself laughing out loud for Joe. He needs to win tonight on Last Comic Standing 2014!

JUDGING (AGAIN): The judges said that did not work and they still can’t come up with a decision! The judges think they are both wonderful and so different, so they meet with producers. They decide to hear ONE MORE joke from each of them! Joe is first and he just nailed that one. He showed his brilliance there! Monroe goes back to the diabetes joke and I think that should be the nail in his coffin. He did not bring out a new one.

RESULTS: After all the jokes and coming back up on the stage, the judges finally decided a winner and Joe Machi has won the head-to-head tonight and Monroe Martin is going home!
