Watch with us tonight during our Last Comic Standing 2014 Recap and see who got eliminated on Last Comic Standing 2014 tonight!

Last Comic Standing - Season 8

Last week on Last Comic Standing Season 8, the comics had the challenge of being tour guides at Universal Studios. They were giving tours of the backlot and scenes from movies. Rod Man is a force to be reckoned with in this competition and I loved his interaction with the crowd. However, I guess the crowd loved Lachlan Patterson more and picked him as the winner of the challenge. In the head-to-head, we saw Joe Machi take on Monroe Martin and it was a battle that never ended! The judges could not make a decision and had them before two more times before Joe killed it with his one joke and Monroe flopped, so Monroe was sent home and Joe survived the cut.

CHALLENGE – This is the final challenge of the season and it will be The Roast. They find out it will be Gilbert Gottfried. They will be working with the Roast Master General Jeff Ross as their mentor. None of the comics have done a roast before! He said the comics should not be nice and he will be in the audience to pick a winner, which will advance to the Title Rounds.

Jeff talks with all the comics and Rod Man may have a rough time with this one with not knowing much about him. Karlous seems to has a good style for this and has some good jokes to Jeff. He thinks everyone is taking it seriously, which is essential to a roast. The roast will take place at Avalon Theater and will be black tie!

ROAST: The theater is full and the comics are backstage and nervous about this one. Joe is up first. He has some good digs in there and has some fun with it. Karlous makes some good jabs at the fellow comedians and some at Gilbert, but I am not a fan of his delivery and reading too many notes. I am a fan of Lachlan tonight and he does a great job tonight and he is moving up my scale of favorites this season! I just like the delivery from Rod Man and I am a fan and he has some decent jokes. Rocky is alright, but not that great. Nikki has some great material and she had lots of laughs in there. Gilbert gets his turn and he is awesome and it was funny!

RESULTS: Jeff said it was a great roast and there were no bombs! He said Nikki and Lachlan were the best of the night for him. Nikki closed and hit home runs tonight. He said Lachlan was very prepared with his jokes. The winner of the challenge is Nikki Carr!

HEAD-TO-HEAD VOTE: The comics vote and they are: Joe, Lachlan, Rod Man, Karlous, Joe and Joe! He is going back to the head-to-head and he will go up against Karlous!

HEAD-TO-HEAD SHOW: The judges are in place and this is going to be a big one and Joe better make it through! Karlous is up first and his jokes were decent and I had some chuckles, but not that great. Russell Peters said it was current and now and a good set. Keenan Ivory Wayans said he missed the energy he had in his first set and doesn’t think the weed worked in his favor (Karlous admitted to saying the California weed is doing it to him). Roseanne said he did good and had some big laughs, but some of his jokes are generic.

Joe is up next and I just love this guy. He is in this head-to-head because the other comics know he is great. He had a slow start, but his delivery is great and I am a huge fan. Russell said he has become a fan of his and looks forward to what he’ll do next. Roseanne said he is a great writer and had a great set. Keenan said he wants to hold his comments and good job.

The judges discuss the comics and they are definitely not impressed with one of them and think they just came up with a five-minute set before taking the stage and were not happy about it.

RESULTS: The winner of the head-to-head is Joe Machi, which means that Karlous Miller is eliminated tonight. He came to the head-to-head and wasn’t prepared and the judges called him out on it!
