It seems that Kristen Wiig will be returning to the place that she got her start, as NBC has announced that Kristen Wiig to host Saturday Night Live on May 11 with musical guest Vampire Weekend. As you all know, Kristen left SNL last year to pursue a bigger career in movies and less than a year later they are bringing her back to host SNL 2013.

Kristen Wiig made it big with her movie Bridesmaids, which is one of my favorite movies of all time, but before that huge hit Kristen spent seven seasons on Saturday Night Live playing characters we all loved. Which ones do you think she will revive as host on May 11???


Wiig will have a new movie out this summer called Girl Most Likely, that she also produced. I guess get some promoting of that movie on the show that helped make you famous!

NBC also announced that the SNL 2013 finale will take place on May 18 and Ben Affleck will serve as host with Kanye West as the musical guest. How does SNL still manage to get some big names for both the hosting and musical side of things??? Are you excited for the return of Kristen Wiig on Saturday Night Live?
