Kourtney Kardashian and her longtime partner Scott Disick, discovered the exciting news that they’re having a girl during a routine doctor’s office visit on Valentine’s Day, they reveal in a new interview with OK! magazine. “I am so, so excited,” Kourtney says.

Being five months pregnant, she says she didn’t care whether the baby was a boy or girl, but Scott really wanted a daughter. “Yeah, I even wanted a girl the first time, and then we had Mason and it couldn’t have been any better,” Scott explains. “We’re very fortunate to have the combination that everyone wishes for.”

The news didn’t shock sisters Kim or Khloe in the slightest, they already guessed the baby would be a girl! “Kim’s been saying things to my mom like: ‘I’ll bet you a million dollars it’s a girl.’” Kourtney says. “So when I told her, she said, ‘I knew it!’”

Kourtney is nervous to start dressing a little girl since she’s dealt with blue and darker colored clothes for 2 years. “I have no idea how to even dress a little girl because I am so used to dressing a little boy,” she says. “And I’m not really a pink person.”

She’s finally coming around to the idea of a girly nursery, and Kourtney thinks she’ll decorate the baby’s room all white and “really pretty.”

“Mason’s my little best friend, so now I’m excited to have a little girl best friend,” Scott gushes. “A couple of my friends have daughters and they say it is the greatest thing in the world. She’ll always be daddy’s little girl. I’m sure I’ll get into the groove of buying girl’s stuff.”

Kourtney is hoping that Scott will pick up the girly trends. “Scott’s an only child and he’s a boy, so he knows motorcycles and dirt bikes and race cars. I don’t even think he gets it — the whole girl fantasy land of princesses and all that kind of stuff — but I think it will be really fun.”

So is Scott getting Kourtney a push present for all her hard work? “She’s not that materialistic,” he says. “If I were to get her anything over the top, she’d only be annoyed about it.” But he does plan to get her at least a bag or watch, and Kourtney adds that he loves to spoil her.

The couple is trying to making sure Mason knows a baby is coming. “He’s only 2, so I’m not sure he totally gets it,” Scott says. They hope Mason will be happy with the newcomer and not jealous of the attention. “I think maybe it will be better for him that it’s a girl,” Kourtney says.”It’s not as much competition, but instead, it’s just something completely different.”

As for naming the baby, they have a name they love but the list is growing. “But I feel like you don’t really know the right name until after you meet the baby,” she explains.

After the baby arrives, Kourtney plans to take two months off at home. She will focus on spending time bonding with the baby and staying out of the limelight. “I’m hoping I’m not as nervous this time,” Scott says. “Babies are extremely delicate early on, and I’m hoping this time I’m more confident. I think we’ve got it down now.”
