Hell’s Kitchen 2014 Season 13 Recap: Week 8 – Who Was Eliminated Tonight?
| November 12, 2014 at 9:50 PM ESTWe have a special night in Hell’s Kitchen 2014 Season 13 and there will be some VIPs in attendance, as Steven Tyler will be there and he is not happy about his service! The chefs on Hell’s Kitchen Season 13 are coming off a pretty decent dinner service last week, so we all know things are not going to go well tonight, right? Watch with us tonight during our Hell’s Kitchen 2014 Season 13 Recap and see who went home on Hell’s Kitchen 2014 tonight!
Last week on Hell’s Kitchen Season 13, Chef Gordon Ramsay decided that he wanted to mix things up, yet again. He took Frank off the Blue Team and added him to the Red Team. He then took Sade off the Red Team and moved her to the Blue Team. The changes must have helped, as both teams had very good dinner services and impressed Chef Ramsay. Despite that, he picked the Blue Team as the winning team and the Red Team had to nominate two chefs. They put up Frank and Sterling, but Chef Ramsay said everyone had a great night and he couldn’t send anyone home because of that and all the chefs remained in the competition!

We start with Sterling and Frank excited to still be there, so Frank writes Chef Ramsay a note to extend his appreciation.
CHALLENGE: The next morning the chefs head down to meet Chef Ramsay and he tells the winners will be spending a wonderful day and night in Las Vegas, so all the chefs want this one! For this, they will be playing some Hell’s Kitchen Craps! They will roll and each one pick a raw ingredient with the letter rolled. They must complement each other as they all must be used to make a dish. The Blue Team is looking good, but the Red Team is looking rough with these choice of ingredients!
The chefs now must each make a dish using the ingredients their team picked out. They all finish their dishes, but now Chef Ramsay has each team pick one dish to represent the best dish for their team. Sade really wants her dish picked, but the guys are not even looking at her. Blue Team picks Bryant’s dish and Red Team picks La Tasha’s dish!
- La Tasha – Chef Ramsay said delicious and the duck is cooked brilliantly and she put the flavors together really well.
- Bryant – He said it looks beautiful and the fish is cooked perfectly and it is sizzling.
He said they both did well, but one of them has the edge and the winning dish belongs to La Tasha! So, crazy ingredients and all and they win and are headed to Las Vegas! The Red Team celebrates and Frank hands his love note to him. Of course, he wants to taste Sade’s dish and he said it is better than Bryant’s dish. Of course, Brian said it tastes salty to him. For losing, they will be working delivery day!
The fighting continues for the Blue Team, as Sade hates losing again. Bryant said she should have fought for her dish, but she freaking did and none of them listened to her! Meanwhile, the deliveries continue well into the night and it never ended! The next morning, Steve cannot straighten his leg and his knee is all swollen. The medics come in and he is headed out to the hospital to check it out.
All the chefs are back and prepping for dinner and wondering what will happen with Steve. Chef Ramsay comes in and finds out about Steve, so he heads out to talk to him. It is bad news, as he is wrapped up and with that knee he can’t compete. That means Steve has to leave and has been eliminated on Hell’s Kitchen 2014 tonight! I have not been a fan of his this season, but sad to see him go like that.
DINNER SERVICE: The doors open and Chef Ramsay is expecting a great service and even better than last week. Sterling and Fernando are preparing table side steaks for the diners. The tickets come back and Roe and Sterling get the apps started strong for the Red Team and the VIPs have arrived! Meanwhile, Santos is nailing apps for the Blue Team and they have started strong.
Now it is time for Frank to screw up at the fish station and Chef Ramsay is not happy. He brings them to the back and yells at them and think they lost it in Vegas! Frank comes back out and is lost again, but La Tasha is not having it and comes to save the day and the apps head out of the Red Kitchen again. The Blue Team has started on entrees and Aaron nails the beef wellington. They are doing so well tonight, so maybe the lack of sleep helped them?
Steven Tyler and his daughter get their apps, so now the Red Team gets to move on to entrees. I don’t know where Frank is, but he is totally out of it and probably still thinking about his letter to Chef Ramsay. Jennifer nails her meat, but Frank sends up raw salmon and he needs to go!
The Blue Team sends out their last table and the Red Team still has seven tables to serve! Frank sends up burnt salmon and then sends up raw salmon, but he brought up the wrong fish! He is totally out of it and they are sinking fast. Chef Ramsay brings over Santos, Sade, Aaron and Fernando to help the Red Team finish. Buh bye, Frankie!
Dinner service is done and the Blue Team excelled, but the Red Team stepped backwards. Clearly, the Red Team is the losing team tonight and Chef Ramsay asks them to nominate two people. Before they get out of the kitchen, Chef Ramsay calls all the chefs back! It was clear, as he sends Frank home after a horrendous night and his time is done!
