Hell’s Kitchen 2014 Season 13 Recap: Week 10 – Who Was Eliminated Tonight?
| November 26, 2014 at 7:00 PM ESTWith Thanksgiving tomorrow, I am hoping to enjoy all the food and see what I am eating, unlike the chefs on Hell’s Kitchen 2014 Season 13 tonight! Yes, it is the Blind Taste Test and the chefs will have an added penalty in the mix: get the items wrong and dunk one of their teammates in the dunk tank! This could turn out to be very interesting on Hell’s Kitchen Season 13! Watch with us during our Hell’s Kitchen 2014 Season 13 Recap and see who went home on Hell’s Kitchen 2014 tonight!
Last week on Hells Kitchen 2014, the chefs took part in Indian Night in the kitchen and while Jennifer said she has never eaten or cooked Indian food, she definitely shined during the challenge and won it for the Red Team. They enjoyed their day of pampering as the Blue Team enjoyed their day of fighting. The pampering must have helped, as the Red Team had a great dinner service and won the night. The Blue Team (pretty much Bryant) yelled and screamed in the dorms because he knew he sucked it up at the dinner service, but it was Aaron that got in front of Chef Gordon Ramsay and quit! It took this long for him to figure out that the show wasn’t for him and he decided to walk away (or he knew he was going home and thought this would make him look better)!

Here we go…the eight chefs head back to the dorms and they say Aaron was weak and knew he was going home. Sade knows that Aaron was weak, but she said she is still stuck with crazy Bryant. They are all anticipating the Blind Taste Test coming this season and of course it is coming tonight!
CHALLENGE: The next day comes and they head out to meet Chef Ramsay and it is the Blind Taste test. He surprises them with some dunk tanks! If they get 2 out of 4 right, their teammate stays dry. If they get 3 out of 4 wrong, then they get wet. If they get all of them wrong, they get dunked again!
- Round 1 – Santos against Roe and it is Bryant and La Tasha in the tank! Santos gets all of them wrong, so Bryant gets dunked twice! Roe gets one correct, so La Tasha got dunked once. A 1-0 lead for Red Team.
- Round 2 – Fernando against Sterling. None correct for Blue Team, so Santos is dunked twice. Sterling is right on 2 of 4, so Roe is not dunked and a 3-0 lead for Red Team.
- Round 3 – Sade against Jennifer. Sade gets the Blue Team on the board, but dunks Fernando once! Jennifer gets none correct and Sterling is dunked twice! It is a 3-1 lead for Red Team.
- Round 4 – Bryant against La Tasha. Bryant gets 3 out of 4 correct, so no dunking for Sade. La Tasha got one correct, so she dunks Jennifer once and it ends in a 4-4 tie!
Now that means there is one sudden death round and each team picks one chef to do it again. Bryant is the easy choice for Blue Team, but Sterling got the most points for Red Team, but they still trust Roe more. Will they pick her instead???
- Sudden Death Round – Bryant against Roe. Bryant is incorrect and Roe is correct, so the Red Team wins again!
For winning, the Red Team is going to the Santa Monica Pier and lunch at The Lobster. For losing, the Blue Team will be spending the day cleaning the dorms! The Red Team is enjoying carnival games and roller coasters, as Sade is hating on losing another challenge and cleaning now!
The chefs are all back and Chef Ramsay calls and wants to see all of them in his office now! He tells them he has closed Hell’s Kitchen 2014 for the night, but they will be serving dinner to some special VIP guests: firefighters!
DINNER SERVICE: There are only two tables tonight and they will each be serving a four-course meal and each chef is in charge in one of the dishes, so Chef Ramsay will be judging them on their leadership skills. Fernando is working the first course and he does not have enough risotto for all the guests! Chef Ramsay said they are not serving until all the plates are ready. Meanwhile, Roe is short two plates and can’t count! They get the problems fixed and first dish is served.
It is now to Jennifer and Santos and Santos seems to be giving all his duties to Bryant for his dish! Jennifer is working her station and Sterling is just walking around doing nothing. The chefs present their dishes to the guests and Santos seems to be telling his life story while presenting and Chef Ramsay has to cut him off! The Red Team is a little behind, but all the dishes go out and onto the next dish.
Third dish is Sterling and Sade and it is a salmon entree. They present their dishes, but Sade overcooks the salmon and it looks like they may be out of salmon to cook for them??? They do find more and Sade gets it right the second time, so all the dishes are sent out for both teams.
The final dish is Bryant and La Tasha and they are making a meat dish. They are all feeling the pressure. No real issues, besides Santos not being able to cut the meat. All the dishes are served and the firefighters are happy, but Chef Ramsay is not. He wants both the teams to nominate two chefs. Back in the dorms and they have no clue what they are doing as everyone is blaming everyone else for their mistakes!
RESULTS: Back in front of Chef Ramsay and the Red Team nominates Roe and Sterling. The Blue Team nominates Fernando and Santos! They all state their cases and Chef Ramsay decides to send home Fernando! He said he can put food on a plate, but he doesn’t see the leadership skills yet.
