There are some reality TV shows that are just completely lame (Keeping Up with the Kardashians) and then there are some reality TV shows that bring us real talent and one of those shows is The Sing Off on NBC, which they just announced that they are bringing back The Sing Off for Season 4 and auditions will be happening soon! I could not be happier and was so upset when NBC did not renew The Sing Off, but low ratings does that to a show!

The Sing Off Season 4

The news was confirmed by EW when they talked to producer Deke Sharon: “I am happily able to confirm that casting is going on. The show is back!”


Speaking of casting for The Sing Off Season 4, you can find more information here, which will kick off in late April. Does that mean a fall airing on NBC? The structure is supposed to return to the holiday format, which was seen during Season 1 and Season 2. I am just happy to have it back though!

There is no information yet on who will host the show or who the judges will be, but are you hoping for a return of Nick Lachey as the host?

Mark Burnett Productions has signed on to help with Season 4, so that could mean some big things for the new season of The Sing Off. With the success of Pentatonix, the Season 3 winner, online and the movie Pitch Perfect, a cappella is cool and NBC is hoping to ride that wave to some ratings success!
