It is just a week of performances on Dancing with the Stars All Stars, as Election Night cancels the results show tomorrow and we will have no elimination this week on Dancing with the Stars 2012. We saw the couples pick dances for each other last week and they are taking on two dances in one for Fusion Night on DWTS All Stars. With only seven couples left, this are getting closer and closer to the end, so you won’t want to miss it tonight.

Derek Hough hurt himself last week on Dancing with the Stars All Stars, so to make sure he is feeling better he is going to take a week off and see how things go for him. With that being said, Shawn Johnson will need a partner this week and stepping in for Derek is Mark Ballas, who was eliminated this season with his partner Bristol Palin. I am excited to see him back on the dance floor and it should be interesting to see how they do together on Dancing with the Stars All Stars.

It has been an interesting season because everyone is All Stars, so we have seen past champions already eliminated. It was supposed to be an instant elimination this week on DWTS 2012, but due to Hurricane Sandy and people without power still, ABC is deciding to go against that. Their scores tonight will carry over to next week. Do you think there will be a double elimination next week on Dancing with the Stars All Stars? Find out more information tonight on my Dancing with the Stars All Stars live recap!

We start out with a dance by the pros showing us how to infuse all different styles of dance into one performance. It all looks the same to me…anyone agree?

Team: Apolo and Karina
Dance: Cha Cha/Paso Doble
The couples are struggling with fusing the two dances and we shall see this all night. Besides the fact of Karina showing off her butt and Apolo showing off his chest, this was a great dance and had a lot of good moves and tricks and they looked really good together!
9.0Len said they came out and attacked it.
9.0 – Bruno said he should be in Twilight, triumphant and wonderful.
9.0Carrie Ann said she liked the approach of the two dances and it started strong and ended stronger.
TOTAL: 27.0/30.0

Team: Emmitt and Cheryl
Dance: Rumba/Samba
Emmitt is over the counting of the dances and Cheryl is fusing them every ten seconds, so it is going to be tough. There was a whole lot of pink on the dance floor for this one, but it was a fun and good routine. They look good together and Emmitt always looks like he is having fun out there.
9.5 – Len said he doesn’t think he could have done it as good as that.
9.5 – Bruno said you did it with such ease and it is extremely difficult to do.
8.5 – Carrie Ann said his hips were in it, but his upper body seemed to be out of it.
TOTAL: 27.5/30.0

Team: Kirstie and Maks
Dance: Quickstep/Samba
Kirstie feels she is there to inspire people that they might be able to do this and dance. I love Kirstie and think they are such a great team and have so much fun out there. She knows she is not the greatest, but who cares. She may have done a little stripping with the dress, but it was funny and I liked it. How about you?
8.0 – Len said the routine had good movement, but it was an admirable effort.
8.0 – Bruno said technique apart, whatever she does is entertaining. Only Kirstie can turn Cinderella into a stripper.
8.0 – Carrie Ann said the second half of the dance she lost herself and she fell out of sync. The quickstep was nice, but the samba fell apart.
TOTAL: 24.0/30.0

Team: Kelly and Val
Dance: Foxtrot/Cha Cha
They have spent the last two weeks on the bottom of the scoreboard for DWTS live recap. They said they are always a hairline away from ripping each other’s face off! Do you think there is something more going on between then besides dancing??? The first part started a little rough for me, but they kicked it in and the Cha Cha was done very well and I liked it.
9.0 – Len said there was an incident in the foxtrot, but it was done well.
9.0 – Bruno said plenty of flash and their their timing was good and great improvement.
9.0 – Carrie Ann said it was overall a beautiful dance.
TOTAL: 27.0/30.0

Team: Melissa and Tony
Dance: Tango/Cha Cha
Melissa is getting overwhelmed with learning the two different steps and she is combining the dances. From this routine we figured out one thing on Dancing with the Stars All Stars: Melissa can do the splits! She did them like five times…settle down. The dance was great though and they worked it out.
9.5 – Len said it was beautiful throughout and he loved the way it was put together.
9.5 – Bruno said she was on fire and you turn me on.
10.0 – Carrie Ann said tonight you are a star and she loved the transition.
TOTAL: 29.0/30.0

Team: Shawn and Mark (filling in for Derek)
Dance: Tango/Paso Doble
Mark Ballas is filling in for Derek Hough on Dancing with the Stars All Stars during rehearsals, but who will she dance with tonight? Derek’s doctors said he isn’t well enough to dance, so Mark will be dancing tonight. This was an awesome routine and how they ended it was amazing. Some awesome tricks and a great job. Derrick said he will be dancing next week, so don’t get too comfy with Mark!
10.0 – Len said it was fantastic and he is voting for them.
10.0 – Bruno said the queen of the night and as fusions go that was flawless.
10.0 – Carrie Ann said that was a fusion and perfectly blended and not a step missed.
TOTAL: 30.0/30.0

Team: Gilles and Peta
Dance: Angentine Tango/Samba
Gilles is frustrated and he doesn’t understand the transition and steps. He said he is going to fight with everything he has got on Dancing with the Stars 2012. It was a good routine, but it seemed to be very slow and awkward in parts for me. I don’t know what it was, but you tell me!
9.5 – Len said well done and they did great.
9.5 – Bruno said it was sultry and intense and great presence and command.
9.5 – Carrie Ann said he has to be careful about the arm things, but it was a fantastic fusion.
TOTAL: 28.5/30.0

Time for the AT&T Spotlight Performance on DWTS All Stars, which features Mark Ballas and Chelsie Hightower and some of the best dancers from Utah and the future stars of ballroom. They do a routine of fusion of different styles and it was really cool. The song was great and it was really well done!

Now we have ten points up for grabs tonight on Dancing with the Stars All Stars as we have a Swing Dance Marathon, as all seven couples hit the dance floor to show off their moves. The judges will be eliminating couples one at a time and the final couple is awarded ten points. Once there are four couples left on DWTS All Stars the couples can go anywhere on the  dance floor. They have four minutes of intensity, so watch out!

The couples get started and some are pacing themselves knowing this is going to go on a while. Kirstie and Maks are eliminated first, so they get four points! Gilles and Peta are next and get five points added on. Apolo and Karina are next and they get six more points and now the couples can use the whole dance floor. Emmitt and Cheryl are next to leave and they get seven points. Shawn and Mark are next to leave and get eight points. That leaves us with Melissa and Tony against Kelly and Val. They are the next ones eliminated and get nine points, so Melissa and Tony win it all and get ten extra points.
