Should make for an exciting night, so follow along with us during our Dancing with the Stars 2015 Recap and see who went home on Dancing with the Stars 2015 tonight!

Nastia & Derek

Last week on Dancing with the Stars Season 20, the couples took on Spring Break Week and we dancing to some fun songs and letting their hair down a little bit. We also had team performances return, as the couples split into two teams and performed some pretty good routines. Team Trouble was by far my favorite of the night, as they performed to “Trouble” by Iggy Azalea and Jennifer Hudson, which I love! After all was said and done, it was Patti & Artem that were eliminated and sent home.

Here we go…a scheduling conflict by ABC moved the double elimination to next week. For tonight, the couples will dance and the couple with the highest score will win immunity for the week. The other couples will dance-off for some extra points from the judges. Derek Hough did injure himself in rehearsals for the 10th Anniversary Special airing tomorrow night, so he is out and Sasha Farber is filling in for him tonight with Nastia. Now to the performances!

INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCES

Team: Riker and Allison
Dance: Quickstep

They are going back to the 1920’s for this one. I just love these two and this was a fun one. They had a lot of energy and he was keeping up with her. There was a lot of footwork and the ended with some tapping, which was great!

9.0 – Bruno said the tap section came out of no where and it was absolutely brilliant.
9.0 – Julianne said them together are so innovative and they come out and so versatile every week.
10.0 – Len said he liked it and doesn’t care what these people say.
9.0 – Carrie Ann said it was fantastic and he keeps showing us new sides, but do watch the chin during hold.
Score: 37/40

Team: Chris and Witney
Dance: Foxtrot

They are going back to the 1940’s for this one. I feel he came back strong last week, but this one was a little bit of a letdown for me. I think he did a decent job and seemed more confident, but the dance was kind of blah.

8.0 – Bruno said he is turning into a dancer and there was such wonderful fluidity.
8.0 – Julianne said last week was his comeback week and that was awesome.
7.0 – Len said he does see improvement coming along and his footwork was good, but he has to polish up those little moments in hold.
8.0 – Carrie Ann said he is the underdog and he is in the right place and time and he has the momentum.
Score: 31/40

Team: Rumer and Val
Dance: Jive

They are going back to the 1960’s for this one and they look the part. Love the song choice and love this performance. They were having fun with it and she looked great. I felt she was lacking something last week on DWTS 2015, but she brought it back tonight!

9.0 – Bruno said love the nostalgic look and very well played.
9.0 – Julianne said she did an awesome job and they are only nitpicking because they want her to do an awesome job.
9.0 – Len said he liked the mix and put some nice technique in there, but it could have had a tad more flare.
8.0 – Carrie Ann said it was really pristine, but feels they lost something and it felt safe.
Score: 35/40

Team: Noah and Sharna
Dance: Jazz

They are going back to the 1970’s for this one. I absolutely loved everything about this one! I love them to begin with, but he brought the attitude and she choreographed another amazing routine for them. This has attitude and he played the character so well. He always brings a tear to my eye!

9.0 – Bruno said they are badass cool and he wants to be in that gang.
9.0 – Julianne said she is pretty much obsessed with them both and that is the most fun she has had sitting at this table.
8.0 – Len said it was strong and it was clean. He may have half the limbs of most guys, but he is twice the man.
10.0 – Carrie Ann said that was insane and they gave it all to us.
Score: 36/40

Team: Robert and Kym
Dance: Argentine Tango

They are going back to the 1980’s for this one. It sucks, as they seemed to start so strong and so sexual. He seemed to lose it midway through it and they had some rough parts at the end. I feel like we just watched their foreplay for tonight!

8.0 – Bruno said he gets the funny feeling of what Robert wants out of her.
8.0 – Julianne said this was a completely different side and the timing was so much better.
8.0 – Len said this week they are up.
7.0 – Carrie Ann said the chemistry between them is great, but at times she felt that Kym was a little too much woman for him.
Score: 31/40

Team: Nastia and Sasha
Dance: Charleston

They are doing a modern Charleston tonight, but no Derek tonight….sort of. He works his way into the routine, but while sitting down on the subway. It is a fun routine and Sasha does a good job filling in and they had a good time on that subway.

10.0 – Bruno said that was the best subway ride he has ever taken and it was a revelation of a dance.
9.0 – Julianne said Nastia has had quite a season and they killed that dance.
9.0 – We get a thumbs up from Len.
10.0 – Carrie Ann said she is so proud of her and she was just dancing and living.
Score: 38/40

Team: Willow and Mark
Dance:

They are going to the future for this routine on Dancing with the Stars 2015. I think Mark was trying to do a little too much on this one. It was a good routine, but I felt like it was lacking in movement from Willow.

10.0 – Bruno said it had a mystic, hypnotic quality.
9.0 – Julianne said it was so intricate and clean.
9.0 – Len said he has a creative mind and well done.
9.0 – Carrie Ann said the concept was executed well, but sometimes the energy was lost.
Score: 37/40

Based on that, we have Nastia & Derek with the most points tonight and they have won immunity!

DANCE-OFF ROUND

So, the couples with the highest scores tonight get to pick their opponent and then that couple gets to pick the dance style. Here we go!

Riker & Allison against Willow & Mark
Dance: Salsa
Riker & Allison go first and they have a fun routine, but his legs seem to be a little awkward on this one. Willow & Mark were so good with this one and I loved them, so I would pick them.

Bruno said both hot and spicy, but with very different flavors.
Julianne said it was so tight, but very different.
Len said it was very, very close.
Carrie Ann said Riker & Allison brought the tricks and Willow & Mark brought the dance moves.
Winner: Willow & Mark win and get 2 points added to their total tonight

Noah & Sharna against Robert & Kym
Dance: Cha Cha
Noah & Sharna are up first and it just seems like Noah stood there for that one, which I did not like. I still love them. Robert was a little rough to watch. He had that stupid smile going the whole time and he seemed lost the whole time.

Winner: It was a tie and Len’s vote decides, so Noah & Sharna win and get 2 points added to their score

Chris & Witney against Rumer & Val
Dance: Foxtrot
Rumer & Val start it out and they give us an amazing routine, of course. Chris & Witney do a decent job, but this one should go to Rumer & Val.

Winner: Rumer & Val and they get 2 points added to their total for tonight

Now to the results on DWTS 2015 tonight! The couples safe tonight are:

  • Noah & Sharna
  • Robert & Kym
  • Chris & Witney
  • Riker & Allison

The two couples in jeopardy tonight are Rumer & Val and Willow & Mark! This is shocking and stupid, but the couple leaving tonight is Willow & Mark and that is so not fair! I loved Tom Bergeron’s comment and said can he not be a TV host and just be a dad, as he gave Willow a hug!
