Dancing with the Stars 2014 Spoilers - Finals Performances

Last week on Dancing with the Stars Season 19, the five couples took to the dance for Plugged/Unplugged Night, which had them dance two new routines, but to the same song. This lead to some pretty good performances, including Sadie & Mark with two great routines (both getting a 37 out of 40 from the judges)! It was a good night, but it ended with another elimination. This time it was Tommy & Peta that were eliminated, which was the right decision and left us with the four best couples for the finals!

Now it is time for us to sit back and watch them and listen to the Dancing with the Stars judges 2014 give their feedback and see who goes home tonight! Follow along with our recap starting soon, but in the meantime check out our predictions from earlier today!

Here we go…a hot number from the pros and troupe to start the finals! Now on to the performances!

Round 1 – Judges’ Picks

Team: Bethany and Derek
Dance: Jive

They did a good job, but she did need to loosen up in certain parts. I also was not minding those khakis on Derek tonight and showing us the goods. It was a good routine, but I wanted more sassy movements from Bethany!

9.0 – Bruno said she has been the ideal student and everything he told her to do was better, but there was an intense where the timing was off.
9.0 – Julianne said she is so comfortable now and she doesn’t even see Derek.
9.0 – Len said this is a great improvement on it and a great way to start the show.
9.0 – Carrie Ann said she saw tremendous improvement since Week 1, but we did have the mistakes.
Score: 36/40

Team: Sadie and Mark
Dance: Samba

They went back to the Duck Dynasty dance and while it is a good routine and fun, I don’t think she did that much better with it. It was still a little rough and did not flow so smoothly for me.

9.0 – Bruno said the Quack Pack is celebrating and this was wonderful, but she was behind in the timing at times.
10.0 – Julianne said she liked it even better this time.
9.0 – Len said the routine is just what he liked and some interesting choreography.
10.0 – Carrie Ann said that is exactly why she is in the finals and she in incredible and so happy to see the confidence.
Score: 38/40

Team: Janel and Val
Dance: Samba

She got hurt during rehearsals and not sure about dancing and doesn’t want to let anyone down! This is the movement I want from the other girls. She brings out that sass and moves those hips and arms and shakes the boobies around. Val is having fun and it showed during this routine and I liked it!

9.0 – Bruno said sexy S.O.B. and I feel hot in here.
9.0 – Julianne said you got this girl.
10.0 – Len said he saw great rhythmic dancing mixed with sharpness.
9.0 – Carrie Ann said she is a warrior dancer and she kicked the booty of the samba.
Score: 37/40

Team: Alfonso and Witney
Dance: Jive

We are going back to Week 1 for this routine and I loved it then and I love it even more tonight! He is beyond good, hurt or not! This was full of energy and they were on fire. I just want to sit and smile and watch them dance, so bring on their freestyle and give them a 40 for this one!

10.0 – Bruno said he has propelled the jive into interstellar space!
10.0 – Julianne said she loves how absolutely everything connected and everything was so on point.
10.0 – Len said he is easy on the eye and he has just taken an enormous step into that finale.
10.0 – Carrie Ann said he set the bar from Day 1 with that dance and tonight he swept us off our feet.
Score: 40/40

Before we move into the Freestyle Dances, we get a special performance from the cast of Annie, which I am beyond excited to go see. Anyone else???

Round 2 – Freestyle

Team: Bethany and Derek
Derek is so good at these dances and his choreography is amazing. Bethany was dancing with all the pros and troupe dancers to start and she was holding her own and I was impressed. I would have liked to see more dancing from her and not everyone else around her at times, but still good and a good story.

10.0 – Bruno said she was like a commander and she is strong and powerful and the making of a leader.
10.0 – Julianne said she is obsessed and it is such a metaphor for what she has been this season.
10.0 – Len said great lifts, drama and that is a five-star freestyle.
10.0 – Carrie Ann said she is a fighter and she was the center of that entire performance.
Score: 40/40 and a total of 76 out of 80 tonight

Team: Sadie and Mark
They are trying to create a gamer’s delight tonight on Dancing with the Stars 2014! I think the concept was cool and they were fun to watch, but I think the music was weird and it did not go well with a dance. It was cute though and I feel Sadie’s dancing was not that great tonight.

10.0 – Bruno said that was refreshing and so original.
10.0 – Julianne said game over and she just gave them all of her gold coins and that was so creative.
10.0 – Len said this I will never forget and it was fantastic.
10.0 – Carrie Ann said that was the most memorable freestyle we have seen in ages.
Score: 40/40 and a total of 78 out of 80 tonight

Team: Janel and Val
I have always said the simpler the routine, the more intense and powerful it can be. It was Janel and Val and this was amazing. No backup dancers and no big props. This was pure dancing and I loved it!

10.0 – Bruno said this was the visualization of a love poem and so moving and so deeply felt.
10.0 – Julianne said what they have is so real and authentic and that was so honest and pure.
10.0 – Len said it was just the two of them and it combined athleticism and artistry and that was a fantastic number.
10.0 – Carrie Ann said yours went inside all of us and they changed us for a minute and that was incredible.
Score: 40/40 and a total of 77 out of 80 for the night

Team: Alfonso and Witney
They are trying to bring in all the routines from the season plus a tap solo for Alfonso, which is not ever done! This was nothing short of amazing. He is the damn winner of this season and this showed us why. So good and I just love both of them!!!

10.0 – Bruno said that is the way you tap your way to the top.
10.0 – Julianne said this is the tightest it has ever been.
10.0 – Len said it was an all you can eat buffet of great dancing and any of the four can win.
10.0 – Carrie Ann said to her, that was the ultimate in freestyle and they did everything and she loved it.
Score: 40/40 and a total of 80 out of 80 for the night!

Time for the results for tonight:

  • Alfonso & Witney – SAFE
  • Sadie & Mark – SAFE
  • Janel & Val – SAFE
  • Bethany & Derek – ELIMINATED!
