Can we PLEASE get some rock songs up in this bia?? I think they get too hung up on the slow, mellow songs! They probably feel they’ll really touch someone out there with a emotional song performance, but my thing is, let’s rock it up a little! Not just 1 or 2 people neither! I want to see like 5 rock songs being done…and when I say rock songs, I don’t mean classic rock, anything from 20 or 30 years ago doesn’t count! LOL…I wanna see some genuine, cool, modern, rock stuff tonight! Am I dreaming or what? LOL…

It would be nice to see if rock didn’t get alienated so much on AI! Forget the straight up metal, I can understand why anything metal wouldn’t be on there…I realize I’m not gonna hear any Slipknot, Disturbed or Mudvayne songs…OK fine…I get that, but not much rock neither? Come on now!! We can’t see any Shinedown, 3 Days Grace, or Linkin Park? SOMETHING in that vain?? The critics of the show always call it a glorified karaoke contest, well what better way to legitimize the show than to break a little bit away from the mainstream top 40, country and the oldies, including motown type stuff?

Before anyone hits me with the, “Michelle did Creed last week and she was voted off”, that had nothing to do with it! I didn’t like the song slow like that, but that could have been a great song if done the right way!

I seen last week they showed some of Soibahn’s pics, when she had a mohawk…it looked like she was in some crazy band! I guarantee you she could rock it up a bit! How about a little No doubt from her tonight? No? Am I setting myself up for disappointment? LOL…

You have a few people on the show that really could end up being legitimate artists! IMO, I think those same few people would fit in the rock catagory, best! I think that’s more of who they are! I think there’s way too many sappy slow songs, and not enough up tempo stuff…maybe it’s just me, but I have a hard time really being interested and taking it too seriously when I can’t get into the song itself! We’ll see what happens tonight…Ladies 1st!!
