Bachelorette Desiree Spoilers: Episode 5 Live Recap – James Case Drama
| June 24, 2013 at 7:00 PM EDTEvery week on The Bachelorette 2013 it seems that another guy steps to the forefront and brings us more and more drama and this week it is James Case on The Bachelorette Season 9! Bachelorette Desiree spoilers show us he is causing some chaos among the men and that James is only there to be the next Bachelor, which makes me giggle! Find out what we mean during our Bachelorette Desiree Spoilers Live Recap and see who went home on The Bachelorette 2013 tonight with us!
We were able to see a little bit more of James last week on The Bachelorette 2013, as he got his first one-on-one date with Desiree Hartsock. They explored the damage from Hurricane Sandy on Jersey Shore and were able to surprise a married couple with the date planned for them. It was pizza and beer for James and Des and neither of them seemed to mind. Des seemed impressed by James, but that might all change this week.
It appears that James is talking with some of the other guys on The Bachelorette Season 9 and some ill-advised words could come back to haunt him. He spills the beans that he is just looking to come across as the “nice guy” and get America and Bachelor Nation to like him in hopes of being named The Bachelor 2014! Does he not know how this works? He’ll never get it when he comes out and says he wants it! I guess we’ll see it all go down in our Live Recap starting soon!
Here we go…we have arrived in Munich folks! These trips are worth being on the show, right? It is Des’ first time in Europe and she is excited to explore it with the guys….now! The guys meet The Bachelorette host Chris Harrison and find out there are three dates: a one-on-one date, group date and two-on-one date! I think Ben Scott goes home tonight. We ready for this?
The first date card arrives and it is a one-on-one date for Chris Siegfried! I love his personality on The Bachelorette 2013, so excited to see a one-on-one with them. They hit the streets and have no clue where they are going, but they have the map in hand to figure it out?
Now the drama with Bryden Vukasin, who felt better after talking with Des and now is not feeling so strong about being there. He knows his time on the show is done and the feelings aren’t there (because he has a girlfriend at home), so he is going to go out and find Des and tell her he is leaving! He has to ruin the one-on-one date??? He can’t wait?!?!
Back at the one-on-one date, Chris and Des are having a great time and trying on silly clothes and dancing in the streets and they think nothing can ruin it for them….but don’t speak too soon! Bryden is out on the streets asking people if they have seen television cameras. Yup, he says he doesn’t want to ruin the date, but it’s going to be hard. Take an extra day in Germany and then break the news to her, ass! And he found them!
Bryden comes up and asks Chris to take her away for a few minutes and Chris is a true gentleman about it. Chris is pissed and he has every right to be, but he handled it very weel. Bryden tells her that she is fantastic, but he is not feeling it and he is going home right now on The Bachelorette 2013.
Des is emotional, but goes back to her date with Chris and wants to have fun and not talk about it. Chris wants to have that trust there and have the communication there, so he brings it up. He tells her he is in it for the long haul and I really do like Chris. He is winning me over. How about you?
Back at the hotel, the guys get the group date card for Juan Pablo, James, Kasey, Zak, Brooks, Drew and Mikey T. That means the two-on-one date goes to Michael G. and Ben, who thinks it will be uncomfortable for Michael G. since him and Des have a big connection, but Michael G. is ready to murder Ben.
Time for the evening portion of the date for The Bachelorette Desiree and Chris, who is excited to just enjoy the night with her. They talked about him writing poetry last week and now he has a poem he wrote for her on a plane. Cheesy or not, I like Chris and it brings a tear to Des’ eyes! Good job, Chris! No doubt about it, but Des offers up the rose and he gladly accepts. They end the night dancing to their own private concert by Matt White. A great end to a great day, minus the Bryden drama.
We are moving on, as it is time for the group date! They meet Des at the highest peak in Germany. They head up the mountain and it is absolutely beautiful, but so cold! They are up so high that they can see the clouds rolling along with the mountains! They meet a yodeler and each get their chance to do some yodeling for Des….it is as bad as you think it would be!
They are on the highest peak in Germany, so why not give them some sleds and send them down the hill? This will end badly….which one goes to the hospital tonight on The Bachelorette Season 9?? Apparently no one, as they make it down the hill and have a little snowball fight and Des is feeling like a kid again.
Back at the hotel, Michael G. and Ben get the two-on-one date card and you can see the tension already there. Michael hates Ben and it is not pretty. Michael G. will be exposing Ben for the fraud he is. This is going to be great, or it better be with how much ABC is building the tension!
Time for some down time on the group date, as they all head into an “igloo hotel” and share some time together. It is really cool to see and how the hell did they do it? Brooks gets his alone time with Des and he reassures her that he is there for the right reasons and a good makeout session.
Mikey T. is sick of having to sweat it out every Rose Ceremony, so he wants that rose tonight on the group tonight and she needs to get to know him more. They head out and make some mini-snowmen and are having a good convo about family, but then Zak walks in and interrupts them with some yodeling!
Apparently when Zak was younger he wanted to be a priest, but had some rumblings about it. So, he bought a ticket to Europe and went on a soul-searching mission and on a mountain in Germany he figured out that was not meant for him to do and now he is back in the same spot with Des. How crazy?
Now time for some James Case drama, as he is being fake around Des and feeling more confident with her and thinks he will be there at the end, but the other guys can’t stand him! Brooks says he is vulgar and rude and wishes Des could see that. The end of the date has come and the group date rose goes to Brooks, even though James looked like he thought it was coming his way! Does James bother anyone else?
Time for the worst date ever on The Bachelorette 2013. Ben says no matter what Michael G. does he will be a good Christian about it. They head out, but only one of them will come back…or will neither of them come back??? Can anyone else say awkward limo ride for Ben and Michael? Michael is an attorney and he is going to send Ben home for fraud!
Let the fun begin, as they meet Des. She knows there is some tension between the two of them and with Ben in the house, so she is hoping to break that tension down. During The Bachelor 2013, they did the Polar Plunge and Des never got to do it and she wants them to do it! They get all dressed up and ready to jump, but then Des surprises them and they will instead be riding in some hot tub apparatus! They are in the freezing water, but riding in a hot tub! How cool is that?
Now Michael G. starts his “case” against Ben and how he mentions his son to Des, but then never talks about it at the house. Michael is pushing his buttons and Ben is “biting his tongue” and trying to be a “good Christian,” which Michael will throw in his face later. I love this!
Back at the hotel, Brooks, Kasey, Drew and Chris are talking and how James Case was talking to Mikey T. after the group date and how James said he runs Chicago and if he loses, they can go back and he will have the ladies all over him for both of them. They can run it together and if James can get final four guys on The Bachelorette 2013 then his life will be forever changed! So, the guys think this is a stepping stone for him and it will not be pretty at the cocktail party the next day!
Talking about things not being pretty: time for dinner on the two-on-one date and Michael G. is calling out Ben about not getting along with anyone in the house. Des cuts it off and asks about family traditions and Ben wants to have a Sunday family day and go to church, but then Michael calls out Ben for not going to Easter service with everyone else is the house! Then Ben mentions his son and not being with him on Easter, but Michael said he never even called him! This gets to Ben and he steps outside. Michael tries to explain himself, but Des felt he was being too aggressive and she sees qualities in both of them that she is not fond of and she may want to let both of them go! Will she though???
Des goes out to check on Ben and he said that he never had anyone question his faith or his relationship with his son and he needed to compose himself. Des thinks he has the right intentions, but doesn’t know how to go about it. Anyone else think he is full of crap? Des thinks he has good intentions, but then talks with Michael G. and wants to know why he is so passionate about his dislike for Ben. He says that Ben mentions his bar more than his son and how he talks about a former Bachelorette contestant turned his bar into five bars because of the fame.
Back at the dinner table and the dreaded moment: who gets the rose on the two-on-one date??? Des said the person she is giving the rose to is the person who she can see having a potential future with and that person is Michael G.!!! That means that Ben Scott is eliminated on The Bachelorette 2013 tonight!!! Let the screams of joy commence. Back at the hotel, the guys are so happy to see ben’s bags get picked up. Then we see how much of an ass Ben is, as he talks about getting drunk in Munich and then asks how soon can he be seen out with someone else….ugh!
Before the Cocktail Party on Bachelorette Desiree spoilers, Des sits down with Chris Harrison and talks about Bryden leaving, her connection with the guys and who is the best kisser: she says Brooks because it means more and Zak is a good kisser!
The guys arrive and Kasey and Drew are ready to tell Des what James is all about. However, Des throws a curveball and she is 100% confident on who she wants to send home and there will be no cocktail party tonight! James is wanting to be the first one to talk to her, but that won’t be happening tonight! Chris and Des come meet the men and she tells them she doesn’t want to put them through another cocktail party and she knows who she will be sending home! Drew and Kasey are upset they can’t tell her about James and he will survive another week!
Rose Ceremony time on The Bachelorette 2013 and we have Chris, Brooks and Michael G. safe tonight. Bachelorette Desiree gives roses to Zak, Kasey, Juan Pablo, Drew and for the first time, James isn’t looking so cocky and arrogant like he normally does, but the final rose goes to James….ugh!
That means Mikey T. is eliminated on The Bachelorette 2013 tonight! What do you think of her choices?
