Bachelorette 2014 Spoilers: Season 10 Ratings Down, But Why?
| June 7, 2014 at 12:41 PM EDTThe ratings on The Bachelorette 2014 have been down all season long, but why is that? It seems like every season ABC claims it is the fan favorite that they pick to be the new Bachelor or Bachelorette, but then all those fans disappear when the show airs! The Bachelorette Andi Dorfman is not getting any love out there and we are wondering why? Besides this last episode, we have been digging her as The Bachelorette 2014 and the vibe among the men on The Bachelorette Season 10. Check out the ratings details below in our Bachelorette 2014 spoilers!
So, why do we have the lower numbers so far this season? We are only four episodes into The Bachelorette 2014, so the numbers could always go up, but I am thinking the inconsistency of scheduling has to factor into it. Let’s take a look:
[SPOILERS: Click here to find out Bachelorette Season 10 winner!]
- The Season 10 premiere was from 9:30 – 11:00 EST after the DWTS 2014 finale performances show
- Episode 2 aired on Memorial Day, which holidays bring out lower numbers
- Episode 3 was on a Sunday night for some unknown reason
- Episode 4 was at it’s normal timeslot without a holiday
And Episode 4 did a little better, as it had a 1.7 adult rating (up 0.2 from last week) and 6.5 million viewers. It was the most-watched show of the night, so ABC is not complaining about that one, but they definitely want more viewers in the target demo! But the numbers could go down, as we have to wait until June 16 for a new episode, as an interview with Hillary Clinton is taking up time this Monday night from The Bachelorette 2014!
