While watching The Bachelorette 2014, I have always cringed when seeing Eric Hill on the screen and it was hard for me to watch knowing the end results for him. However, I always wondered what his family thought about the situation and how they were handling it all and if they were even watching The Bachelorette Season 10. All my questions have been answered in our Bachelorette 2014 spoilers below!

Bachelorette 2014 Spoilers - Andi Dorfman and Eric Hill

Earlier in the episode, we saw Eric and Andi talk at the after party for the group date. They both agreed that their relationship started so strong with the first one-on-one date of the season, but then they never progressed from there. She felt he was not opening up to her and just sharing his stories of his world travels (I guess the Syria story and writing a goodbye letter to his parents was not opening up). He proceeded to talk about his family some more and how much they meant to him. (Side note: I could not imagine being his family and watching that moment, if they were even watching. It was hard for me to watch.)

Apparently they were watching, as Eric’s brother Scott sat down and talked about Eric and The Bachelorette 2014 with Entertainment Tonight. In the interview, Scott said:

“I don’t envy the situation that ABC was in, given the circumstances…it’s kind of a fine balance, I think, for anybody to deal with a situation like this. I thought they did a fine job. I’d love to have an opportunity to sit down with Andi in person and kind of get her perspective off camera.”

To be honest, I think it is the least Andi could do and I hope she does meet with Eric’s family to discuss things.
