| February 28, 2013 at 7:00 PM ESTThe Sudden Death Rounds come to a close tonight on American Idol Las Vegas 2013, as the final ten guys take the stage to sing for a live audience and the American Idol judges 2013, but only five of them will move on to the Top 20 on American Idol Season 12. When all is said and done tonight on American Idol 2013, we will finally have our American Idol Season 12 Top 20! Find out who they are during my American Idol Las Vegas 2013 Live Recap tonight and see who was eliminated on American Idol Season 12 with us!
Last night on American Idol Las Vegas 2013, we got to see the final ten women take the stage and try to impress the American Idol judges 2013. In what I thought were some impressive performances, the judges shocked me in which five girls made it through and which five girls were sent home.
How could you keep Zoanette Johnson or Breanna Steer over Cristabel Clack or Rachel Hale? Yeah, Zoanette has a nice background story, but her vocals are not there for a singing competition. Yeah, Breanna is a good-looking girl, but her vocals are not there either. Both Cristabel and Rachel are good singers and both were sent home! Ugh, it still frustrates me right now!

*****************************************************************************************
Here we go everyone! Back to the guys tonight and Ryan Seacrest is babbling and then we meet the American Idol judges 2013 and then the fellas singing tonight, but let’s just get to the first singer!
Mathenee Treco: He sings “A Little Less Conversation” by Elvis Presley. He tried to be all hardcore and badass with his performance, but then he sings this song? There are so many other songs out there and it just looked awkward to me. I think he can sing, but I was just distracted by what he was trying to onstage.
Gurpreet Singh Sarin: He sings “Nothing Ever Hurt Like You” by James Morrison. I like the personality of this guy and we all know that Nicki Minaj loves him, so he will probably be going on to the Top 20. He is a decent singer and this was an enjoyable song, but nothing special about it.
Vincent Powell: He sings “Cause I Love You” by Lenny Williams. It took three singers, but the night has finally begun on American Idol Las Vegas 2013. Vincent knocked it out of the park. It may have been a little “take me to church,” which I am not a huge fan of, but he did awesome. The end note was a little too much, but I am still a fan!
Nick Boddington: He sings “Say Something Now” by James Morrison. Apparently it is James Morrison night for the guys on American Idol Las Vegas 2013? This was a weird performance for me. He had some really good moments and I really like his voice, but then he had some really rough parts as well. I am torn. What did you think?
Josh Holiday: He sings an original song, which was very good. I liked the song and liked his voice and thought the song was very good. We are back at the thought of him starting at the piano and then getting up in the middle. They told Shubha Vedula to stay at the piano and then wanted Jett Hermano to get up from and now they wanted Josh to stay at it. Make up your mind judges!
David Oliver Willis: He sings “Fever” by Peggy Lee. First of all, are all the guys in the competition youth pastor leaders? This is another one of those performances that did not blow me away, but was not terrible. He plays the guitar and it was good, but nothing that blew me away!
Bryant Tadeo: He sings “New York State of Mind” by Billy Joel. We haven’t seen much of Bryant this season and I thought he did very good. I enjoy his voice and I thought it was a very good song choice for him. I was entertained and he looked good on stage. One of the better performances of the night for me.
Burnell Taylor: He sings “This Time” by John Legend. Everyone seemed to love this guy when he first auditioned and I did not get it. I was not impressed. This is another song where he doesn’t impress me, but the judges loved him. Am I missing something?
Lazaro Arbos: He sings “Tonight I Wanna Cry” by Keith Urban. I love this guy and love his story, but this was not one of his better performances for me. He wowed us during his audition and I think he has gone downhill ever since. Does anyone agree with me?
Cortez Shaw: He sings “Titanium” by David Guetta. He is a good-looking guy and can go far in this competition. He puts a little twist on a very popular song and sounds good. He ends on a big note and this guy can sing. They end the ten guys on a huge note and probably my favorite of the night on American Idol Las Vegas 2013. How about you?
The performances are done on American Idol Las Vegas 2013 and time to find out what guys made the Top 20 on American Idol Season 12:
- In: Vincent Powell, Lazaro Arbos, Cortez Shaw, Burnell Taylor and Nick Boddington
- Out: David Oliver Willis, Bryant Tadeo, Mathenee Treco, Josh Holiday and Gurpreet Singh Sarin
