Talk about a shocker last night on American Idol Las Vegas 2013, but apparently the American Idol judges 2013 see something in Charlie Askew that most of us don’t as they kept him around and moved him on to the Top 20 on American Idol Season 12. I think this more has to do with Nicki Minaj wanting him around and maybe thinking his is quirky and might be in viewers because we all know he isn’t a great singer!

Don’t get me wrong, I think Charlie is a super nice guy and he is funny to watch when he is on stage. I like how he says whatever he wants and he has some hilarious comments, but this is a singing competition and that is all that matters.


Charlie sang “Rocket Man” by Elton John and he did have some moments where he sounded decent, but most of the performance was a joke and just him trying to put on a show. The American Idol judges 2013 love this kid though. Do you?
