Week 1 is in the books for American Idol Las Vegas 2013 and we have seen half of the singers take the stage in Las Vegas in hopes of making the Top 20 on American Idol Season 12. Ten guys and ten ladies sang their hearts out for the American Idol judges 2013 and while there were some questionable eliminations, let’s take a look at the best performance from Week 1 on American Idol Las Vegas 2013!

Like I said, ten ladies performed and then ten guys performed this past week on Idol. I’m going to keep it simple and give my best performance from each night.


Best Girl Performance (Week 1): Kree Harrison

This girl made magic when she hit the stage on American Idol Las Vegas 2013. I have not seen much of Kree this season and this performance made me want to see a whole lot more of her. I love how the judges said some girls put on the outfits to put on a show and for her, she can do a show just by singing…so true!

Best Guy Performance (Week 1): Paul Jolley

This was a harder choice for me. The guys were a little boring to me this week. I am annoyed by Curtis Finch, Jr., Charlie Askew was a hot mess and has been, J’DA put on a drag show and the others were people I seem to have forgotten. Paul Jolley stood out to me, not only for his very good looks, but for his voice. I really enjoyed it, but the American Idol judges 2013 thought differently and thought he overdid the song. They were split on sending him through, but Jimmy Iovine saw the potential and he moved on.
