We will see which of the remaining guys move on to Vegas and which ones are eliminated. A lot of the guys on the list did shine during the group performances last night, but the solo rounds are a whole new ball game. It should be interesting, but by the end of the night we will know which 20 guys are moving on to Vegas Week on American Idol 2013!

Don’t want to know what happened on the American Idol Hollywood Week 2013 Guys Week Part 2 Live Recap? Then don’t read ahead!

Solo Day folks! Twelve hours to learn their songs and up first is Paul Jolley. He is not feeling confident going into this last round. He sings, but the Nicki reams him a new one and tells him to be professional for one minute. Where does she get off saying that while she is wearing what she is?

The judges will make cuts every eight sings this time and next is Lazaro Arbos, who seemed to do very well. Curtis Finch, Jr. is strong, but he bothers me and seems very cocky. Anyone agree?

Group 1 is done: Lazaro, Curtis and Paul all make it to the next round!

For the next group, Devin Velez knocks it out of the park, but he has weird posture and makes awkward faces when he sings. Gurpreet Singh Sarin seems to have composed himself after a bad group performance and wows the judges. Cortez Shaw came back from the first round as well and the judges like him. Nicki is not being nice tonight, as she tells Matheus Fernandes to be him and not talk about being short all the time and it turns into a pity party!

Group 2: Devin Velez, Gurpreet Singh Sarin, Cortez Shaw and Adam Sanders all make it to the next round. Matheus Fernandes is headed home (sad face)!

Next up we have Nicholas Mathis and the big guy falls to the ground during his performance, but I wasn’t feeling that emotion…were you? Papa Peachez sucks it up, but I don’t even know how he made it this far, do you? An alright job with his solo for Jimmy Smith.

Group 3: Jimmy Smith, Johnny Keyser and Vincent Powell make it through, but Nicholas and Papa Peachez are headed home and Nicholas makes a fool of himself!

Next up is Nick Boddington, who made it to Vegas Week last season but was cut and now wants to go further on American Idol 2013 and he nails the performance. Now I see why the judges have moved Charlie Askew along in the competition, as he does a very good job on the Gotye song.

Group 4: Nick Boddington, Josh “Jada” Davila, Mathenee Treco and Charlie Askew all move forward.

Next up is Burnell Taylor and I am not impressed. Marvin Calderon sings the same song and I like his rendition better. The judges liked both and they are moving on to the next round.

Now it is time for Micah Johnson. He nails it with country and I am a fan of this guy! Mariah tells him it is a no, which I am shocked at!

We also say goodbye to Gabe Brown and Nate Tao!

All the guys who made it to the next round are called back onstage and Randy Jackson tells them that there are 28 of them, but only 20 will move on and they will find out next week after the girls perform!
