The Voice USA 2014 may have taken over the airwaves this week, but it is back to American Idol 2014 tonight and we get to see the Top 13 on American Idol Season 13 take to the stage to perform live for our votes! This is a first, as the artists will now be competing against each other and not competing for a spot on the live shows. With that being said, we have changes coming for the themes on American Idol 2014 and no more specific themes that are dull and boring. American Idol 2014 Spoilers - Top 13 Preview

With the new producers on American Idol 2014 and the American Idol coaches 2014, they are trying to make the show more appealing to the younger crowd and win back those ratings it has been losing the past few seasons. One turnoff, or so they thing, is hearing these contestants sing old songs. Sometimes they are songs the contestant has never even heard of before! Gone are the Motown Weeks and Burt Bacharach week and now we have more open themes for American Idol 2014.


So, the theme for Top 13 Week on American Idol 2014 is “This Is Me” and we can only guess that means singing a song that shows America who they are as an artist. This is who I am and this is what I sing. I like it and like how they can choose any song of their choice, including an original song! It will be interesting to watch tonight!
