Top Chef Kentucky 2019 Spoilers - Week 14 Results

Last night on Top Chef 2019, we kicked things off a little on the smelly side of things! The chefs had to create a dish utilizing the durian, a delicacy in China, but also a very stinky fruit. It smells so bad that it has been banned in certain areas! Needless to say, this was not one of their favorite challenges of the season. However, Michelle won her second in a row Quickfire Challenge and got one extra hour of prep time for the Elimination Challenge!

For that challenge, the chefs had to create a dish that would fuse together their own heritage with Chinese ingredients. To help them out, the chefs were joined by their moms (Eric had his sister join him). They enjoyed a nice meal and discussed heritages and then the fun began.

Yet again, the judges seemed to enjoy all of the dishes for the night. It was Sara making some matzo ball soup and winning the challenge and getting one of those spots in the finale. As far as the other chefs went, the judges felt that Michelle had too much on her plate and did not fuse the Chinese ingredients into her dish. Because of that, she was eliminated!
