Top Chef Kentucky 2019 Spoilers: Week 14 Sneak Peek (PHOTOS)

We are one week away from the Top Chef Kentucky 2019 finale and the Top Chef Season 16 chefs will be fighting for a spot in it tonight. To get there, the judges are putting them to the test and having them cook with a world-famous fruit that doesn’t smell too good in the final Quickfire Challenge of the season! Check out some Week 14 sneak photos below in our Top Chef Kentucky 2019 spoilers!

Last week on Top Chef 2019 Season 16, the final five chefs made their way to Macau and got to do some shopping at the market with Graham Elliot, which ended up being the Quickfire Challenge and having to use those ingredients to create a dish. Michelle won the challenge and was able to pick her sous chef and ingredients first for the Elimination Challenge, as well as the other chefs picking. For the Elimination Challenge, they had to create a dish for a Chinese New Year celebration with 200 guests! They had to use the ingredients they selected in their dish and no other chef could use those ingredients. They felt Adrienne didn’t use one of her ingredients, plus the portion size was small and the ingredients didn’t all talk together and because of that, she was eliminated!

For Week 14 on Top Chef Season 16, here is the official synopsis from Bravo:

“The day has come when the final four chefs must cook with the world’s smelliest fruit durian. This infamous fruit is a delicacy in Macau, but will Padma and guest judge, James Beard Award winner Abe Conlon be able to stomach their creations for the season’s last Quickfire? Then, the chefs get a tutorial in the traditional cuisine of Macau, a fusion of Chinese and Portuguese flavors, and are joined by their family members from back home. For the elimination challenge, the chefs are tasked with blending their own heritage with Chinese flavors in order to impress their love ones and the judges, in order to earn their spot in the finale.”
