The auditions continued this week on American Idol 2013 and we saw the new American Idol judges 2013 (Keith Urban, Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey and Randy Jackson) make their way to both Charlotte, North Carolina, and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Randy was happy to be home in Baton Rouge, but what kind of talent would they find for American Idol Season 12? While most of the attention seemed to focus on the drama between Nicki and Mariah, we did find some good talent during Week 2 of American Idol 2013 spoilers.

Let’s take a look at some of that talent, as I give you my Top 3 auditions from Week 2 of American Idol 2013. In my opinion, there were no huge standout performances like Lazaro Arbos  did last week, but still some standouts. Here are the best three:

#3 – Janelle Arthur. She played Dolly Parton in a production when she was eight years old, which I guess helped her mold those country roots that she sang so well during her audition. I enjoyed this audition and she seems like a super nice girl, which may be why she is rumored to make the Top 40 on American Idol 2013?

#2 – Ashley Smith. We always get those people that are made to look like they can’t sing and then they get in front of the judges and shock the hell out of us. Ashley was one of those people. She comes off as annoying and over-the-top in the video before her audition, so I am thinking it is another bad audition. Then she tells the judges she is singing “Cowboy Casanova” by Carrie Underwood, which again makes me think she is a joke. Then she starts singing and nope.

Check it out here:

#1 – Seretha Guinn. Her story was amazing and her daughter was super cute. It was a very touching moment for the show and it brought a little tear to my eye. I loved how she sang “Fresh Prince of Bel Air” and completely made it a different song, which shows some real talent.
