Survivor Caramoan 2013 - Episode 13

Here’s where things stand after Survivor Caramoan 2013 last week: we were surprised with two Immunity Challenges and two Tribal Councils last week, which meant a jam-packed hour of challenges, drama and alliance-shifting. Reynold lost the first Immunity Challenge and the castaways took that as a chance to get rid of one of the biggest threats and he was voted off. At the second Tribal Council, Andrea went in having a Hidden Immunity Idol, but she felt so confident she never used it. That confidence should have been checked, as she was voted off as well with a blindside!

Tonight, it looks to be Eddie taking on the other five members of the alliance. Can he survive tonight? I think he wins immunity, which will throw a wrench into the plans. It appears that Dawn and Brenda might be going after Cochran, who has quietly been a force this whole season. He sneaks in and wins immunity when you don’t expect it. I think the Favorites wants to get rid of some of their won again this week, but who? Find out in our Recap starting soon!

Here we go…we are back at camp and Eddie thinks he is the next one with the target on his back…is he right? Eddie tells Cochran that if he won immunity this week that the others would probably go after Cochran. Dawn and Brenda are now talking and they feel Cochran is next, but Dawn can make final three with Erik and Eddie, so which way will she go?

Erik is starting to have a breakdown on Survivor Caramoan 2013 and he wants some food and he feels like he is in a prison with nothing to do or no one to talk to. He then decides to think that he can climb a coconut tree to get some coconuts that have been mocking him. Yup, he is losing it! He comes done and feels defeated!

Tree mail time and it is a preview of the video letters from their loved ones. After seeing the video from his brother, Erik is now found a new strength and is back folks!

Reward Challenge Time: the video messages were just a teaser, as their loved ones are there! Jeff Probst said it has been 26 seasons and he has not cried and Brenda just broke him. Give me a moment….I am crying too much! For the challenge, they will be competing with their loved ones. They will spin around in circles and undo three poles and then try to shoot some balls on a pole. The first team to get all three done wins a picnic with their loved ones.

Erik and his brother are flying through it, but they have to be getting dizzy! Cochran and his mom are taking it slow. The others are tossing and Erik and His brother get one first. It is a battle until the end, but Brenda’s dad gets the third one and they win the reward!!! Brenda is a threat in this game. She gets to pick someone to join them and she picks Dawn and her husband, but then Jeff says they all have a second loved one there. Brenda can give the experience to the four other castaways or keep it for her and Dawn and she gives it to everyone else to enjoy…what??? That is a strategic move big time for Brenda!

Cochran, Sherri, Eddie and Erik join their other loved ones and start eating from the grill. They all get that special time with their families just 50 yards away from camp, as Brenda and Dawn watch! How hard would that be? Dawn has a major breakdown and is so pissed off, but Brenda calms her down. Cochran’s mom tells him that Brenda will win this game now, so will it hurt her?

We are at Day 36 and Immunity Challenge Time: for this challenge on Survivor 2013, the castaways will be standing on a ledge over water while holding onto a handle behind their back. Jeff will crank the handle and they will lower closer to the water. How intense is this?

Eddie knows he is on the outs, so he must win this challenge. After 15 minutes, Cochran is the first one out of the challenge. After 25 minutes, it has become too much for Eddie and he falls out. Then Erik is right behind him. I knew the women would be better at this. Sherri is out next, so Dawn tries to strike a deal with Brenda to let Dawn win and they will vote out Eddie, but Brenda says no way and they continue on. Brenda can’t hang on and Dawn wins immunity and has a spot in the final five!

Brenda said she dropped to let Dawn have this one, but then back at camp Cochran comes up with the idea of blindsiding Brenda at Tribal Council! How can they blindside the one that just gave them all so much? Cochran talks to Dawn about it and she is worried about Eddie moving along. Dawn said she has to play her own game and she might be swayed by Cochran’s emotions. I will be so pissed if they blindside Brenda!

Tribal Council Time: Dawn said it is nice to come to Tribal Council and just breath. We then talk about the gesture by Brenda and giving them all the time with their loved ones and she is a saint. Eddie is pretty sure he is going home, but who knows. The votes have been tallied and no hidden immunity idols to play, so the votes are: Eddie, Eddie, Erik, Brenda, Brenda and Brenda! Brenda is voted off Survivor Caramoan 2013! She tells them she was honest with them and genuine with them and says it hurts. Does anyone else want to smack Dawn and that smile on her face right now???
