Big news is coming out of a New York Times article that states that Jimmy Fallon to replace Jay Leno on The Tonight Show by 2014 and the show will be moved back to New York City! That is big news for a show that has been filmed in Los Angeles in 1974 when Johnny Carson moved it out there and this is huge news that has been rumored for some time now, but with the success of Jimmy Kimmel in the 11:35 pm time slot on ABC it looks like NBC has had enough and thinks they have a gold mine with Jimmy Fallon as host of The Tonight Show!

I think Jimmy Fallon has been gaining more and more respect in the late night TV world and this could just be the start for him. According to the report, NBC has quietly been building a set for Jimmy in 30 Rockefeller Center, which would host The Tonight Show hosted by Fallon at 11:35 pm! The report also states that the move happens by the fall of 2014 at the latest!

We all know the drama that happened between Conan O’Brien and Jay Leno and throw David Letterman into the mix and there is always some kind of drama revolving around the host of The Tonight Show. Could this finally be the end of Jay Leno as host though with NBC? It is a sure sign and I think Fallon would do awesome as the new host!
