DEREK HOUGH, NASTIA LIUKIN, SASHA FARBER

Last week on Dancing with the Stars Season 20, the couples took on two routines: one picked out for them by America and a Trio Dance, which were very fun to see. The night consisted of the first perfect scores of the season, but Riker & Allison fell one short each performance and ended up with a 78 out 80 on the night! We had the return of the results show on DWTS 2015, so we found out the results on Tuesday night and we said goodbye to two more couples in the double elimination: Chris & Witney and Robert & Kym, so good voting by America!

Here we go…we have two performances tonight, as the couples will be taking on a new individual performance and then another performance where everything was selected by the judges! So, here we go!

ROUND 1 – INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCES

Team: Rumer and Val
Dance: Viennese Waltz

This is an amazing song choice for this performance! They did it with a Fifty Shades of Grey theme and nailed it. They both had that sexual tension and emotion going on and this was great. He was giving off a Christian Grey vibe BIG TIME!

10.0 – Bruno said they never lost the lyrical quality that is needed to express this dance.
9.0 – Julianne said that execution was so right-on and America is falling in love with her.
9.0 – Len said she is on a roll and another great dance, but it did lose some of the Viennese Waltz character.
10.0 – Carrie Ann said he fascinating thing about her is how connected she is.
Score: 38/40

Team: Noah and Sharna
Dance: Viennese Waltz

I love these two, but this dance seemed to be lacking something. She normally goes all out with these dances, but this one seemed simple and missed the emotions they normally portray. I was a little sad on this one.

9.0 – Bruno said there is such a naturalness about what he does and so honest.
9.0 – Julianne said there was such an ease about that performance and there was so much content in there and it was so smooth.
9.0 – Len said there was a charm about it and it was emotional and for him, it was their best dance.
9.0 – Carrie Ann said what made this so incredible for her was seeing him have fun.
Score: 36/40

Team: Riker and Allison
Dance: Contemporary

This one I was excited for, as contemporary allows for so much freedom with the choreography. Allison did a great job with the routine and Riker kept up with her. Great performance and they had the emotion going strong.

10.0 – Bruno said that had such a gutsy physicality and he has talent.
10.0 – Julianne said she could not tell who was the pro in that dance and she is so blown away.
10.0 – Len said he loves great performances and that was a great performance.
10.0 – Carrie Ann said he was vulnerable and raw and he was killing it and it was amazing.
Score: 40/40

Team: Nastia and Sasha
Dance: Quickstep

I get annoyed by them, as Derek is hurt, but ABC continues to show him with Nastia before they perform and keep his name up there when introduced, but then she dances with Sasha. He does a great job with Nastia and this was a great dance, so let him embrace it and get rid of Derek’s name!

10.0 – Bruno said she was really a star out there.
10.0 – Julianne said their connection is so great this week and she is now a dancer.
10.0 – Len said they moved fast, but did not hurry and it was a terrific dance.
10.0 – Carrie Ann said that was incredible and that was a showstopper.
Score: 40/40

Before Round 2 of performances on DWTS 2015 tonight, we see a sneak peek performance from the DWTS Tour this summer, which does look cool. Now for the Judges’ Choice, the judges each worked with one of the couples for this routine. The other judges will actually judge/score the routine.

ROUND 2 – JUDGES’ CHOICE

Team: Rumer and Val
Dance: Contemporary Fusion

They worked with Bruno on this one! He said this is going to be a fusion of everything on this one and it includes ballet for Swan Lake. To be honest, I am not a huge fan of ballet and I think it took away the dance for me. I think they did a good job, but I was not a huge fan of the routine.

10.0 – Julianne said it was beautiful and technically it was gorgeous.
10.0 – Len said when he watched that, Bruno great concept, Val great choreography and Rumer great dancing.
10.0 – Carrie Ann said that was genius and a little mad, but that was what was so great about it.
Score: 30/30 and a total of 68/70 for the night

Team: Noah and Sharna
Dance: Paso Doble

They are working with Carrie Ann on this one. Sharna said she came in with a perfect concept and was so happy. I loved the concept and the choreography and this was awesome. I loved the guys there to support him and this was so, so good!

10.0 – Bruno said the top bull taking control of the herd.
10.0 – Julianne said she has chills from head to toe and one of the best dances she has seen them do.
10.0 – Len said they came out and gave us a battle for the final.
Score: 30/30 and a total of 66/70 for the night

Team: Riker and Allison
Dance: Argentine Tango

They worked with Julianne on this one and said they have high energy, but wants to control it a little bit. They want her to be part of the routine, so Julianne is hitting the dance floor on this one! I think it was cool having her out there and it was a trio dance all over again, but the intensity was so much higher after she left. They looked good and had the intensity.

10.0 – Bruno said no doubt, he is a leading man and he was controlling it like a lion tamer.
10.0 – Len said he has become a triple threat and fantastic.
10.0 – Carrie Ann said not only can he handle a champion, but he danced like a champion tonight.
Score: 30/30 and a total of 70/70 for the night

Team: Nastia and Derek
Dance: Viennese Waltz

They worked with Len on this one. I am getting tears just watching this package video. Len said he can’t dance anymore and he wants to show dancing when he was younger. Derek does dance this one and they do a beautiful job. They were so good together and it ends with Len getting a moment with Nastia on the dance floor and I am in tears!

10.0 – Bruno said it glowed with a nostalgic warmth.
10.0 – Julianne said this night has been really special and that was the most special dance she has ever seen.
10.0 – Carrie Ann said it was incredible and she was in tears and that was a true moment.
Score: 30/30 and a total of 70/70 for the night
