Last week on Dancing with the Stars Season 21, we had the premiere and the couples took the dance floor over! We saw the judges on DWTS 2015 hand out some lower scores along the way, which shocked me. However, some of the routines deserved it! We also saw some pretty memorable moments, especially for Week 1 of the competition! Overall, it was a pretty solid night and now we get to find out which of the couples will be sent home tonight!

He dedicates his performance to one of his teachers and said he wouldn’t be who he was without her. This was a cute routine and it was very fast and he struggled in parts, but it was good.
7.0 – Bruno said he forgot the footwork at times, but he likes his confidence. He carries on through it and sells it.
7.0 – Julianne said he did slip and it got in his head. It was a little messy and not as good as last week, but a good way to start the show.
7.0 – Carrie Ann said it was rough and he gets in his head, so stop that.
Score: 21/30
Team: Paula and Louis
Dance: Rumba
She gets some inspiration from her hometown to hopefully improve over her scores last week. She still had her struggles, but she seemed to let go a little bit more tonight and it was nice to see. She had a little slip, but I liked to see it.
6.0 – Bruno said keep the continuous movement, but better.
6.0 – Julianne said she shook the nerves off and she showed her true self tonight. She was off on her turns, but it was awesome.

Score: 19/30

He had those lines working tonight! This was a great routine and he looked really good out there. I knew this kid would be really good and he improved a lot in just one week.
7.0 – Bruno said watching him reminds him of a young Tom Cruise. He said his arms remind him of a ballet dancer.
7.0 – Julianne said she couldn’t stop smiling and it is so nice to watch, but be consistent from the beginning to the end.
8.0 – Carrie Ann said he can dance and he doesn’t need the motor bike. His lines were great.
Score: 22/30
Team: Chaka and Keo
Dance: Foxtrot
You have to give it up to her for getting out there and dancing, but she is just not a great dancer. She was a little off and was searching for his hands at times and not putting a lot of effort into it.
5.0 – Bruno said she hit a rock or two in the middle, but she did not sink.
5.0 – Julianne said it was a very nice improvement and she stretched those lines.
5.0 – Carrie Ann said she loves her incredible warmth and smile when she dances.
Score: 15/30
Team: Andy and Allison

He dedicated this one to New York City, where he find his love for music. For this routine, it was amazing. I loved watching them and just watched and enjoyed it. Lots of energy and they were moving and he had good dance moves. They were a little off and didn’t finish on time, but it was enjoyable.
7.0 – Bruno said he loved the attack and the energy. It’s all very well, but he went off so many times and he has to be more precise.
7.0 – Julianne said it started so strong, but then it got a little bit off.
7.0 – Carrie Ann said he has so much potential, but it was a mess and he needs to stay with the music.
Score: 21/30
Team: Kim and Tony
Dance: Quickstep
There was drama during rehearsals, but she worked it out on the dance floor. She was much more calm this week and she seemed to get rid of those nerves from Week 1. Much better and it had a lot of energy and I liked it.
6.0 – Bruno said what a way to be back in the competition.
6.0 – Julianne said it was so much better and that was just scratching at the surface of what she has to offer.
7.0 – Carrie Ann said she showed us she is in the game.
Score: 19/30
