Dancing with the Stars 2014 Results: Finale Recap – The Winner Is…

The big announcement on Dancing with the Stars 2014 comes tonight, as the winner of Dancing with the Stars Season 19 is crowned and a new couple walks away with the Mirror Ball Trophy! The three remaining couples (Alfonso & Witney, Janel & Val and Sadie & Mark) each have one more chance to impress the judges and earn some more points. Who wins DWTS 2014 tonight? Last night on Dancing with the Stars Season 19, it was Night 1 of the DWTS Finals and the four couples put on quite a night, including the performances by Sadie & Mark! It was a night of perfect scores for all of the freestyle dances, which made it very hard to see one of the couples eliminated. It had to happen, as Bethany Mota and Derek Hough were eliminated and three couples remain!

A new champion will be crowned on DWTS Season 19 tonight and the Mirror Ball Trophy will go home with them! Find out who it is during our recap starting soon, but check out our predictions in the meantime!

Here we go…it was the pros starting out the night. Then we take a look back at the performances from last night and then you tweeted and it is time for the encore presentation of the Freestyle Dance and you picked Bethany & Derek, which does not shock me at all!

We take a look back at some of the beginning weeks of the season, but then it is time for Katrina Smirnoff and Randy Couture to take the stage. I am surprised he did get eliminated so early. Then it is a performance by Nick Jonas of “Jealous” and he is so damn sexy, huh?

Time for Jonathan Bennett and Allison Holker to take the stage and go back to the Men in Black routine and they get some help from her husband, tWitch. Great routine and loved him this season.

We see some outtakes from the dress rehearsals and these are hilarious! They should show these more throughout the season! Now time for Betsey Johnson and Tony Dovolani to take the stage and reprise their “Material Girl” routine. She always amazed me with her abilities at 72 years old!

I’ll put the DWTS 2014 finale on mute for a while, as Michael Waltrip and Emma Slater take the stage to perform. He is just creepy! Now time to look back at some of the middle weeks with the guest judges and all the good times (and bad times for the eliminations).

Now back out on the dance floor is Antonio Sabato, Jr. and Cheryl Burke. Is this her final dance??? A parody video of the finalists to the The Fresh Prince of Bel Air is followed by a performance of Jennifer Hudson, who I just love!

We get to see a brief moment of The Carlton, but then it is time for Lea & Artem to perform one more time. Then some words from the eliminated stars this season. Then it is some hot stuff, as the women pros take the dance floor and they are awesome and so sexy!

Tommy Chong was one of my favorites this season and good to see him back dancing with Peta Murgatroyd one last time on Dancing with the Stars 2014 and he was helped by Cheech and Len in the car!

We see Bruno Tonioli get a birthday cake and then Bethany & Derek perform one more time. Then it is time for a look back at the last four weeks of the competition! Then it is time for Meghan Trainor to take the stage and perform for us and another one I love!

24-Hour Fusion Dances

Team: Sadie and Mark
Dance: Samba/Quickstep
I like them, but I think this race is between Janel and Alfonso tonight, so is that why they are going first??? This was a fun routine though and they did really well together. Is it just me, or does Mark seem to be a happier dancer this season? I am liking him more than ever.

10.0 – Bruno said your personality is so bubbly and her charm shines through in everything that she does.
10.0 – Julianne said she hopes that she is so proud of herself and she has come so far since Week 1.
10.0 – Len said yours in the Cinderella story and she is leaving a dancing princess.
10.0 – Carrie Ann said she stuck to her game all the way through and everything about you I love.

Team: Janel and Val
Dance: Foxtrot/Paso Doble
While it seems like this season has been for Alfonso to win, Janel has come on strong these past few weeks. Could she win it? I think they did a great job with fusing the two styles together and they are very good together!

10.0 – Bruno said these two know how to build up drama and they are absolutely amazing together.
10.0 – Julianne said the fusion between the foxtrot and paso was seamless and she wanted it to keep going.
10.0 – Len said they combined the how of the technique and wow of the performance.
10.0 – Carrie Ann said they are so dynamic and so artistic and so passionate.
Score: 40/40

Team: Alfonso and Witney
Dance: Cha Cha/Argentine Tango
He has been my favorite all season long and it continues tonight. I think they are great dancers and great together. This was more of her dancing around him, but I still loved it!

10.0 – Bruno said always switched on and always turned on to the max and he always gives the audience what they want.
10.0 – Julianne said it was super tight and super clean and Witney has done an amazing job.
10.0 – Len said there is a naturalness about him dancing.
10.0 – Carrie Ann said he loves to dance and we love watching him because his love to dance shines.

Before we get to the results, some final words from the stars to their pros…bring on the tears! Now it is time for the results and the couple that has finished in third place! That couple is Janel & Val!!! Now that is a shocker to us, but we didn’t think they would win.

Now we move on to the final results on DWTS 2014! After all the points and votes are totaled together, the winners of Season 19 are Alfonso Ribeiro & Witney Carson!!!
