It was a great night for everyone, which included some great routines from Sadie & Mark, including a perfect score for their trio performance, which left them in the middle of the pack with a total of 73 out of 80. Here we go…

Round 1 – Plugged Performances

Team: Sadie and Mark
Dance: Quickstep

She definitely was struggling with some confidence issues heading into tonight, but she didn’t let it show during this routine. Again, she is fun to watch and this was a great performance from them!

9.0 – Bruno said natural, fresh, breezy and plenty of content there.
9.0 – Julianne said she is such a breath of fresh air and just keep doing what she is doing and that brilliant.
10.0 – Len said that was fast and there was nothing in it that he didn’t like.
9.0 – Carrie Ann said her body contact was good and so detail-oriented and it was great.
Score: 37/40

Team: Tommy and Peta
Dance: Jazz

We all know that Tommy is going home tonight, right? I love Tommy and think he is so entertaining to watch and he can make some moves here and there. He’s got some moves for an old guy, but he needs to go home and let the youngin’s duke it out next week!

7.0 – Bruno said he is a lucky man and he has Peta.
7.0 – Julianne said yes, she is the wild card and that was definitely wild and they are a great team together.
7.0 – Len said he couldn’t have done what he has done this season, so well done.
7.0 – Carrie Ann said she has nothing but respect for him and Peta has made Tommy the most valuable player.
Score: 28/40

Team: Bethany and Derek
Dance: Samba

She had it going on tonight and she was working those lines. Was this back to the trip performances or what? They did good, but Bethany and those damn duck lips are too much for me!

9.0 – Bruno said very different and very effective.
9.0 – Julianne said they did a great job and she really nailed it.
9.0 – Len said it was light and fluffy, but a little sticky at points.
9.0 – Carrie Ann said it was a solid samba, but she felt a little underwhelmed by it and I think she has more.
Score: 36/40

Team: Janel and Val
Dance: Paso Doble

I have been a fan of this couple for a while now, but I feel they have been rising in the rankings with others lately and I like that. They are so strong and this was another great routine from them on Dancing with the Stars 2014. Such strong dancers and such great chemistry.

10.0 – Bruno said fierce, bold, powerful. You really set the stage on fire.
10.0 – Julianne said she felt like they were one and girl, she is in it to win it.
10.0 – Len said just enough of everything to keep him satisfied.
10.0 – Carrie Ann said she wanted more and that was over way to soon…fabulous.
Score: 40/40

Team: Alfonso and Witney
Dance: Argentine Tango

He hurt himself big time this week and there was talk of him not even being able to dance this week! Based on that, he did an amazing job. I think you could see him not being 100%, but even at whatever percentage he was going at, he is still a great dancer. They worked it out together and I am huge fans of them!

9.0 – Bruno said he is such an artist and out there, he was the prince of Buenos Aries.
9.0 – Julianne said he is a fighter and that is what showed tonight.
9.0 – Len said he can dance. Work through it and get to that final.
9.0 – Carrie Ann said because of his injury, his posture was phenomenal. Go safe, but go hard.
Score: 36/40

Round 2 – Unplugged Performances

Team: Sadie and Mark
Dance: Argentine Tango

For the first time this season, I was not totally in love with their performance. She was going with the serious thing and her face was awkward. They seemed to fumble some of the legwork and the guitar prop was too much to handle and seemed awkward.

9.0 – Bruno said he found her very grownup and she did all the steps and she did well.
10.0 – Julianne said she loved the guitar and created the barrier and it wasn’t super passionate.
9.0 – Len said they had the biggest challenge tonight, but he wanted them to lose the guitar earlier.
9.0 – Carrie Ann said she has so much respect for her and that was a very powerful song and she suited the song.
Score: 37/40 and a total of 74 out of 80 for the night!

Team: Tommy and Peta
Dance: Rumba

This was a cool performance and I loved the unplugged version of “Tainted Love” and they did good, but this routine was all Peta and she owned it. Tommy was there and she danced around him.

8.0 – Bruno said this was so touching and Peta did such a great job.
9.0 – Julianne said there was something magical about that piece and it was awesome.
8.0 – Len said he is America’s favorite and that is an amazing thing and no one as old as him will get this far on DWTS.
9.0 – Carrie Ann said that was beautiful and watching the master and his muse and there was something so tender and that was magic.
Score: 34/40 and a total of 62 out of 80 for the night!

Team: Bethany and Derek
Dance: Contemporary

I love a good contemporary routine, so I was beyond excited about this one tonight on Dancing with the Stars 2014. They used a picture frame as a prop and this was so good. Derek is great at what he does and this was an awesome routine and the choreography was great!

10.0 – Bruno said this dance should be on permanent display in an art gallery.
10.0 – Julianne said there’s been this wall and each week she cracks a little and that was picture perfect.
10.0 – Len said it was a Picasso of a dance…loved it.
10.0 – Carrie Ann said she didn’t want to blink and it was breathtaking.
Score: 40/40 and a total of 76 out of 80 for the night

Team: Janel and Val
Dance: Argentine Tango

We have another start to a routine with the pros wanting to be musicians, as Val was playing the violin. They had some good tricks in there, but it seemed like Janel was hesitant with things, which is not normal for her. They had a stumble in there, but it was still a good routine.

10.0 – Bruno said there was an incredible fluidity with their movements and he loved the lifts.
10.0 – Julianne said she has a gift and no one can take that away from her and she dances with everything she has.
9.0 – Len said full of intensity and full of passion, but he has to agree with Carrie Ann on the lifts.
9.0 – Carrie Ann said out of the women performers left, she is the most dynamic. The lifts were a bit ungraceful.
Score: 38/40 and a total of 78 out of 80 for the night

Team: Alfonso and Witney
Dance: Contemporary

This is just incredible. He is in such pain and you can see it on his face, but it worked with this performance and it came off as emotions. How he made it through it all is unknown to me, but go get some pain meds and shots and ice that thing because you deserve it. Awesome night from Alfonso.

10.0 – Bruno said sizzling chemistry and they always read from the same page and there is never a moment they aren’t in tune.
10.0 – Julianne said he was free and not sure how he did that.
9.0 – Len said he loves the drama of it and the intensity and it was just terrific.
10.0 – Carrie Ann said this is how you pave the path to the finals.
Score: 39/40 and 75 out of 80 for the night
