Chelsea Handler cries talking about late mother on Rosie Show, video below. Handler is not known for being serious or sensitive, but she recalled visiting a psychic to host Rosie O’Donnell, where she talked about her mom, as well as her deceased brother, who died when she was just 10 years old.

She described that she was told that whenever a memory of her lost relatives pops into her head, it’s because they have “planted” it there at that moment.

“It’s a nice way to understand that they’re still with you,” Handler said, adding that she feels “my mom is always around me.”

Handler also recounted her mother, while dying in the hospital, telling the E! personality to “take care” of her siblings.

“It was a really emotional moment,” Handler told O’Donnell. “I think that’s probably when I became an adult.”
