Big Brother 2014 Spoilers Recap: Episode 24 – Fear The Beard!

From Skittles to fearing the beard, tonight’s new episode of Big Brother 2014 will be full of excitement and it will be full of the final Battle of the Block on Big Brother 16! The dual HoH comes to an end next week, which means no more Battle of the Block. We get to see it played out tonight and find out who the new target is for Week 8 on Big Brother 2014. Last time on Big Brother 16, it was another live eviction show that ended as everyone planned. We saw a unanimous vote (again) to evict Nicole Franzel, which means she went from being one of the HoHs at the beginning of the week to walking through those doors by the end of the week! She joins the jury house and could earn a spot back in the Big Brother 2014 house. From there, we had another HoH competition and saw Derrick and Frankie win, which was not good news for Donny. However, we have the final Battle of the Block competition tonight on Big Brother 16 and I am thinking these HGs need to fear the beard!

Here we go…we go back to the HoH comp and Caleb still thinks The Bomb Squad exists. He says Donny and Victoria are their targets and Donny is #1 target. Derrick doesn’t want either of them to go home, but will work with the alliance.

Derrick and Frankie talk and Derrick throws out the grandfather bond between them? I don’t like that. Derrick wants to stay HoH for the week and Frankie is okay with that. They talk about who has and hasn’t been on the block and Cody has never been on the block, so Derrick has to try and work it for Cody to stay safe. They all want to meet to see who will bite the bullet this week and we hear the famous “no blood on our hands” lingo. There are eight people left…when is the right time to get blood on their hands????

Donny meets with Derrick and he said that Donny is neither of their targets. Derrick said Team America is #1 and have to find out a way to make it look obvious. They come up with plans to keep him safe and win Battle of the Block and it turns to keeping Victoria (Derrick’s pawn) off the block….he sure is good!

Derrick gets the next mission for Team America. They have to hide a favorite piece of clothing from each HG and then start a neighborhood watch that is active for 24 hours.

The Detonators and Caleb meet in the HoH room and time to discuss the nominees on Big Brother 2014. None of them want to throw the comp and Caleb said he did it last week, which he failed at doing. Caleb said he has gone up three times and every time was because of Frankie, yet he wants to keep working with him? They all want Zach to volunteer and he finally volunteers and they decide to draw Skittles to see who goes up. Cody can’t believe we are in Week 8 and drawing Skittles for nominees. I can’t believe we are in Week 8 and you are still in the house without doing a damn thing! Christine gets picked to go up with Donny. Cody and Caleb get picked for the other side, so Zach is safe and I love every second of this!

To go with the Zingbot coming soon, we get to see Cody and Christine flirting and touching each other all the time! Donny ain’t saying nothing, but it’s just a little surprising to him….love this man! In the DR, Christine said if she has to flirt to get further in the game, then she’ll do it. She is doing nothing wrong and loves her husband and trying to bring him home $500,000.

Caleb, Cody and Derrick talk and it turns to Zach going home if Donny wins PoV. It just makes me cringe listening to Cody even speak now….why is this????

Derrick and Frankie talk to Donny about drawing Skittles to pick nominees. Derrick said they were all there except Donny because he was sleeping. Donny is not buying it one bit and thinks he is expandable and when some says “we” or “our” then they are working together. He is clearly over Team America!

NOMINATIONS CEREMONY: Derrick nominates Donny and Christine and says the Battle of the Block twist has been hard on all of them and go out and win. Frankie nominates Caleb and Cody. He gives some speech trying to be funny and Donny is not laughing for one second!

BATTLE OF THE BLOCK COMPETITION: It is the big black box! Both teams will enter and they will race to find bones hidden inside the box and return it to their board. They can only talk one bone at a time and first team to put up five bones will win. Some bones may not fit. Donny don’t need no partner! He gets all five bones on his own and wins! That means him and Christine are off the block and Derrick is dethroned as HoH. Caleb and Cody remain on the block and Frankie is the lone HoH for Week 8 on Big Brother 2014?
