Everyone prepare yourselves because American Idol Season 12 is coming to your TV screens and coming very soon! FOX has released the first American Idol 2013 promo and I am liking it. There has been a lot of talk about the upcoming season with the addition of new judges Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban and the fighting “caught on camera’ during one of the auditions. American Idol 2013 still has its constants: Ryan Seacrest and Randy Jackson, but the new judges are making all the news. Nicki and Mariah have been fighting and Mariah has supposedly brought in more security because she is afraid of Nicki. I think it is all hype to make people tune in to the new season, which premieres on January 16 on FOX.


With all the drama leading up to it, I am sure American Idol Season 13 will start off with some great rating during the audition rounds. People want to see this so-called tension between Mariah and Nicki, but they could be disappointed. I think then the ratings will go up when American Idol 2013 live shows kick off because then FOX can’t hide anything from us!

The promo video is below and I think it is kind of cool. It has an inspiring tone to it and makes me excited for the next season. I am excited for the new judges and once any American Idol season starts I get swooped in for another season of needing to see who wins it all!
