Here we go…the judges and the contestants are in Hollywood and the fun is about to begin! The judges give their pep talk and then surprise them and say a select few will sing right now! It turns out, they are people the judges loved and want to hear again.

Jax is up first and she takes on “Toxic” by Britney Spears and she has that indie sound to her voice, but she gets a little rock side to it too. Mark Andrew, Emily Brooke, Sal Valentinetti and Adam Ezegelian. The judges think there are a lot of nerves going on tonight.

Tyanna Jones, Savion Wright, Hollywood Anderson and a few others take the stage. The judges are not impressed with Hollywood and his interpretation of the song and thinks they are too nervous, so the judges tell them to settle down!

Now we get to see Shannon Berthiaume (loved her and her vibe), Adam Lasher and Garrett Miles and if the judges can’t give their feedback, the crowd is definitely loving each other on American Idol 2015.

We see some singers playing the guitar and the judges are not impressed that all of their guitars are so out of tune! Trevor Douglas chages that and has a cool vibe.

Joey Cook is having a great time, even without her accordion and Jennifer loves her voice. Amber Kelechi is having a big breakdown before taking the stage, but she does some jump and chest pump and works it out.

That’s it and the judges ask all of the performers from today to take the stage! The judges tell them that they were the most memorable auditions of the season and they wanted to see them again. They were good, but had some bumps along the road. They are all coming back though, as is everyone in the room, so no eliminations on Day 1!

DAY 2 – The contestants will come out in lines of ten and sing for their lives! The judges will divide them into two lines and one moves on and one goes home!

LINE 1: Included in this line is Reno Anoa’i (for me, he was much better this time), Priscilla Barker, Jaq Mackenzie (big fan of her voice).

RESULTS: Five make it through, including Reno and Jaq, but Priscilla is headed home. This was proceeded by some quick results and more singers going home and lots of tears!

Erica Washington makes it through. We then see a montage of guys flirting with Jennifer, but time for them to take the stage, including Michael Simeon and “Big Ron” Wilson. It worked, as both of them are going through and getting some more time with Jennifer!

The night comes to an end with Gabby Zonneveld trying to impress the judges and she starts so strong, but then she must have blanked and forgot where she was! She stops singing and is panicking and seems to have forgotten the lyrics? This is where it ends….until tomorrow night!
