Find out the results on Top Chef Duels finale last night below in our Top Chef Duels 2014 spoilers!
Last night on Top Chef Duels Season 1, we saw the return of the nine winning chefs from the duels this season. Joining them was the winner of The Knockout, which happened to be Tiffani Faison. They would all compete in two challenges and the best two chefs in each challenge would move on to the final duel. First challenge: create an all-black dish. Second challenge: create an all-white dish.
From this challenge, we saw CJ Jacobson, Takashi Yagihashi, Kevin Gillespie and Tiffani Faison move on to the final challenge. For this Final Duel, the chefs had to create three dishes that showed love, honor and pride. After each course, one of the chefs would be eliminated.
It was a close battle each round, but it came down to Tiffani and CJ in the last head-to-head battle on Top Chef Duels 2014. It was weird, as the judges seemed to love Tiffani’s dish, but then they loved CJ’s thinking and his style and his different dishes. It seemed like they thought that Tiffani was almost being too safe and I knew it was going to end this way, but the judges picked CJ Jacobson as the winner of Top Chef Duels 2014 and he takes home $100,000!
