As of now, it appears that Blake Shelton and Team Blake could make a three-peat during The Voice USA Season 4 since out of the six remaining acts on The Voice 2013, three of them come from Team Blake! That is some good odds, but Blake stacked his team with country artists and it seems to be working. Adam Levine, Usher and Shakira all have one act remaining, so it will be a tough battle for them on The Voice USA 2013. Come watch with us during our The Voice USA Season 4 Top 6 Performances Spoilers Live Recap!

The Voice - Season 4

It was an interesting week last week, as two of my favorite artists this season (Sarah Simmons and Judith Hill) were both eliminated on The Voice Season 4! Team Adam took a major hit and that was a team that many thought was the strongest this season. Why do you think those two were sent home?

We are left with Danielle Bradbery, Michelle Chamuel, The Swon Brothers, Holly Tucker, Sasha Allen and Amber Carrington on The Voice USA Season 4. Two more will go home this week, so watch the performances tonight and see who you think it will be. They perform twice tonight, so be prepared for two hours full of performances! Come back for our Live Recap starting soon!

Here we go…

Holly Tucker (Team Blake) – “When God-Fearin’ Women Get The Blues” by Martina McBride

Blake loved seeing the attitude come out last week, so he chose this song for her this week to do the same thing. I was not a fan of her performance last week and thought it lacked the sass and attitude they were hoping for, but apparently America loved it, right? This one was much better. I think song suited her voice better and she hit the right notes and had the right tone. I actually liked it, which she might need a lot of help tonight to remain in the competition.

Michelle Chamuel (Team Usher) – “Somewhere Only We Know” by Keane

Usher is invested in Michelle more as a friend than as a coach. He thinks this is a perfect song choice for her, but we shall see. Michelle has this quality about herself that allows her to connect to every emotion of the song she is singing. That emotion is what is going to take her to the finals for The Voice 2013. She has a good voice, but that emotion is killer. Another great performance from Michelle. What did you think?

The Swon Brothers (Team Blake) – “Wagon Wheel” by Darius Rucker

Blake thinks that country duos are always popular and these two can make it. The brothers chose this song because it is popular and current right now, so they want to be current. Don’t get me wrong, but I am not impressed by these guys. I think they are good guys and have good voices, but to me there is nothing special about them. Michelle has that special thing about her, but I don’t get that from The Swon Brothers. This was too boring for me, especially for Top 6 Week!

Sasha Allen (Team Shakira) – “Ain’t No Way” by Aretha Franklin

Her mother introduced her to this song, so she is singing this for her. I think she could do amazing taking on Aretha, but let’s see. Sasha is one of those singers that one week I like and the next week I can be bored with her. This definitely was not one of the nights to be bored…so far. This was a great performance and her vocals were dead-on. She nailed this performance and it might be at the perfect time for her.

Danielle Bradbery (Team Blake) – “Shake The Sugar Tree” by Pam Tillis

“Maybe It Was Memphis” was a huge hit for Danielle, so Blake wants to go back to what works for her. He loves introducing old country with the younger generation and hopes this is a big hit. Danielle has a great voice and she can sing very well. We all know that! The problem: she misses that connection with the songs. She is young and is missing the emotion you can get while growing up in this tough world. It is just her up there singing and singing beautifully, but I want to see more. Is it just me?

Amber Carrington (Team Adam) – “I Remember You” by Skid Row

Adam said it has to be country, but true to the original. Country taking on the hair band classic? This is a crazy one. This is a classic rock song, but she totally made it country. Amber is getting better and better every week and she is proving she might make that finale. Can she pass Danielle or Michelle?

Second Performances

The Swon Brothers (Team Blake) – “Okie From Muskogee” by Merle Haggard

They wanted to show off their more fun side, but don’t they do that in every performance of theirs on The Voice 2013 Season 4? I personally like when they sing the more serious songs. This did nothing for me, again. Blake chose this song for them, so I guess he is to blame? I am not a fan!

Holly Tucker (Team Blake) – “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts

Her parents are her biggest fans and she is singing this song for them. Blake can’t wait until she makes a record. She starts out slow, but it sounds good. She has her moments during the performance that were really good, but it bored me in parts. You could see the emotion in the singing though, so that was a positive!

Michelle Chamuel (Team Usher) – “I Knew You Were Trouble” by Taylor Swift

During rehearsals, Usher surprised Michelle with a visit from Taylor Swift. Taylor thought she did a great job and had so much emotion. That is why her love her and she delivers again tonight on The Voice USA Season 4. Michelle is a champion and can sing the emotions of the song so well. Can we crown her champion please?

Amber Carrington (Team Adam) – “Crazy” by Patsy Cline

Adam wants a camera on Blake during this performance to see the tears falling down his face. She thinks this could be her big country moment. It starts a little slow for me, to be honest. This is a slower song, so that is a given. However, Amber does have a really good voice and I think this was a great country moment for her. This is such a huge country song and she handled it really well. Did you like it?

Danielle Bradbery (Team Blake) – “A Little Bit Stronger” by Sara Evans

This is a big emotional song, so she picks this song to relate it to her sister. She struggles with hitting the notes in rehearsals though. At 16 years old, can she really relate to having her heart broken? She has no emotion on her face when she sings and it is just going through the motions of singing. Bad song choice, but sung well.

Sasha Allen (Team Shakira) – “Before He Cheats” by Carrie Underwood

Shakira chose this song to show that Sasha can do anything. She wants Sasha to bring the country to the city. She did have the sass needed for this song and I loved it. I was very impressed with her tonight and think she may have sung her way into the semifinals next week? She rips off the cover-up and shows some skin too. Were you impressed with her tonight?

That’s all for tonight, but which artist was your favorite tonight on The Voice 2013?
