The Voice USA 2015 Spoilers - Night 3 Blinds Continue

Last week on The Voice USA Season 8, we had the return of The Voice and I was so excited. Night 1 of the premiere brought us some good singers, but the main focus was on Adam and how no singers were picking him. He tried hard, but he ended the night with no singers! Has that ever happened before??? One of those singers turning him down was Sawyer Fredericks, who reminded me of a Hanson Brother! Then on Night 2, we finally saw Adam land a singer after even more struggles, including losing out on Brooke Adee.

Find out in our The Voice USA Season 8 Recap that follows and check out the videos of all the performances!

The following post contains videos from tonight’s episode of The Voice 2015 Season 8 Blind Auditions. Don’t want to see them yet then don’t look ahead!!!

Here we go…

Kelsie May – She is a young talent with a throwback sound. She is a sophomore in high school, but never truly believed in herself. Her parents convinced her to start posting videos on YouTube videos and she started to perform on stage about a year ago once her confidence was higher. She is nicknamed Little Loretta Lynn, so of course she sings one of her songs. She definitely has that country twang to her voice. It takes some time, but she gets Blake, Pharrell and Christina to hit their buttons for her! No big shocker, but she picks to join Team Blake!

Kimberly Nichole – She has tu-tus custom made for her performances. She used to sing, but then took some time off to be the first person to go to college. She got a degree in economics and got an office job, but eventually grew to resent it and got back into singing. She has been building her career, but doesn’t know what else to do to make her dreams happen. To be honest, she has a very similar voice to Fantasia Barrino and it grows on me as she sings more. She gets Blake and Pharrell to hit their buttons and she picks to join Team Pharrell.

Michael Leier – He taught himself guitar at 12 years old and then started a band at 16 years old and they were playing in downtown Fargo a couple weeks later and then playing at bars! After high school, his band all went their separate ways. He went to med school for a year and it wasn’t for him, but now is at a crossroads of going back to school or pursuing music. He has a decent voice, but I am not blown away and he has no real stage presence. He gets Adam and Blake to hit their buttons and he picks to join Team Adam.

Hannah Ellis – Her parents were both wedding singers, so music has always been a huge part of her life. She is trying to pursue music, but does odd jobs along the way and is a nanny and substitute teacher. I like her personality and she is pretty, but only hope the voice matches. She has a good voice, but it is pitchy and no one hits their button and she is headed home.

Travis Ewing – He is a full-time musician and plays over town as a one-man band in New Orleans and he plays all these instruments on his own! He was inspired by a teacher in school to sing and he hasn’t spoken to her in like ten years, but gets a special video message from her, which is cool to see! He is one sexy fella and sings a Destiny’s Child song and it is kind of hot! He gets Christina to hit her button right away, but Pharrell and Blake join her eventually. He picks to join Team Pharrell.

We see some quick additions, as Noelle Bybee for Team Pharrell, Bren’nae DeBarge and James McNeiece join Team Adam. Then Adam does a blind audition and all coaches hit their button and he picks to join Team Christina!

Sonic – She was brought up with a lot of soulful artists and it has influenced her voice. She was signed to a label at 14 years old and was made into a diva, which she wasn’t. It took four years and the album was never released and now she is part of a band! She is deaf in her right ear, so she hears music differently. She starts out and she has such a strong voice and loving her vibe. She gets Christina and Adam to hit their button and she picks to join Team Christina!

Ella Khorov – She is from New Orleans and is inspired by the music around her. They talk about her mom having cancer and I hate these sappy stories sometimes and this is one of those times. She starts out and it is pitchy. I like how she goes deep at times, but I think she is all over the place and it doesn’t work for me. The coaches either, as no one hit their button for her and she is headed home!

Jacob Rummell – He is adopted and was in show choir and singing has been his thing. He just graduated high school and pursuing music sounds better than college to him, but he has no idea how to do it. He loves Christina and glad she is back. He starts singing and here is the shocker, as he has a very effeminate voice and the coaches will be shocked! He gets Adam and Blake to hit their buttons and Blake is shocked when he turns around! He picks to join Team Blake, which shocks everyone!

Barry Minniefield – He is 52 years old and he has been the executive chef at the Hollywood Improv. He always sang there and he said that Jay Leno has always been a friend. He even started his own catering company. He retired from cooking and decided to pursue his singing career! He has that old school feel to his voice and he has a lot of soul and he gets Adam to hit his button at the last second and he joins Team Adam on The Voice USA 2015!

India Carney – Carson Daly heads to UCLA to meet India, who is part of the music program there. She has devoted most of her life to music education. The bulk of her performances have been through her schooling while growing up. She is classically trained, but would love to work with the pop side of things. She has an amazing voice and so controlled and I am loving her confidence on that stage. She is amazing and gets all four coaches to hit their button, but she picks to join Team Christina!
